Crazy how the prices have changed in the past 2 years

No more fumbling for your car keys in a horror movie.

We bought a 2021 RAV4 XLE with the convenience package, we love it so much!

We have the XLE Premium with the cold weather package. The heated steering wheel gets hot within a mile of leaving home. The lumbar support has actually helped me get over a week long lower back ache. I usually drive my old Tundra '07, but took the Rav4 on a 2 hr drive, cranked up the lumbar support, back ache gone! I had the seats on low heat too.

$3000.00 difference and basically Wheel, sunroof and seat. Which one would you pick?

I wished Toyota would allow a black wheel and badging option on the XLE models. (Without having to upgrade to TRD model, etc.) Black RAV4 with black interior and accents=way cool factor!

taller wheels does NOT necessarily mean higher ground clearance. more often than not, it means a shorter sidewall.

Rather have 17" tires. Rides better and future tire purchases will be cheaper.

Rav4 2020 XLE Premium and got one for wife, it get alot of attention. Dark Grey color too.

Great job, Christina! I usually prefer cloth seats to leather, but I may have to check out the softex material. My budget would prefer the XLE, but the Premium with the weather package definitely has some nice features.

This new Rav4 car is nice and clean. I like this new Rav4 car because it makes me feel comfortable and it smells like new car.

Just picked up my brand new 2022 RAV4 XLE Premium yesterday at Longo. I drove it 100 miles yesterday, I love the ride. If you add convenience package to XLE, difference isn't that much. I will go with Premium. And I did.

The Premium has SO MANY MORE FEATURES... this video compares a highly upgraded XLE to the Premium... but the standard has way less. THAT would have been a better comparison. I wish the one I just bought was $30k... but for the 2021 in the current market, I paid $46k, including dealer upgrades, $5k over MSRP due to scarcity and the extended warranty. Still super happy that I went with the Premium. It's amazing.

There's nothing in the XLE premium that's worth $3000 to me. To each his own, though.

Omg my dad has a 2020 Toyota Highlander XLE, BEST SEATS I HAVE EVER SAT IN!!!!

I got the 21 XLE Premium AWD. Very happy with the mileage as I have an 80 mile daily commute. The AWD performed really well in the recent snow storms. I got the cold weather package as well and only wish I had gotten the upgraded stereo technology package with the remote start. Actually if I had it to do over I'd probably go all out and get the Limited. But overall no regrets. It's going to be a great daily driver for me.

Crazy how in 2024 the Xle starts at $30,185 and the Xle premium starts at $33,072. That’s about a 10% increase, inflation is crazy

The base 5 spoke wheels are very easy to clean, the 19's take some tedious work. And the 17 inchers provide a very cushy ride, due to the fat, meaty tires.

I have a 2022 XLE Premium. All I want Toyota to answer is why the Premium doesn't have a small plaque below the XLE stating that it is a Premium model.

It is beautiful good looking classic yet elegant. I love it.

I would go with the Premium wheels also. You did a good job with this review. Also "Soft-tex" will outlast leather. So its great.

Just got 2021 XLE Premium in Magnetic Gray.

I prefer the XLE Premium but looking at the Outback as well. Decisions, decisions 🤦🏻‍♂️

I prefer the wheels on the XLE

toyota jeff camo was the best! The color matching top in lunar is nice, but the paints are the most stylish by far. 👍🏻

Bigger tires more ground clearance, but less comfortable ride.

This is an excellent video about the RAV 4, but I'm looking for HP. So I may go for an RDX or QX50. But great job from this lady in showing in detail both cars.

The XLE premium does not come with heated seat standard unless you get it as the package??

Why did Toyota do this? All the features on the premium are typically expected to be found on an XLE...planned obsolescence?

I have 2020 XLE nice car overall... I liked my previous car (Chevy Malibu 2013) better for getting onto freeway...ie. the way it accelerated was cleaner and had more get up and go... both are 2.5 litre 4 cylinder engines.

The best thing about this video is the girl ... I'm definitely going to buy a Rav4, but it's because the girl.

You can also lock the car so you need the key fob to unlock it. So neither of these are hybrids ? They only come as hybrids in the UK. and a plug in hybrid.

XLE premium, just bought one and love it

Slowest lift gate speed in any vehicle and I found the centre console too intrusive with regards to the room for your leg. I felt squished inside and I’m 6’2”

I'm taking whichever one that comes with you as part of the premium package 😁

You can usually use the key fob to set the alarm so you have to use the fob to unlock the car. Nice car but the fuel economy would put me off. I'd go for the Hybrid and get around 50mpg. That's in the UK.

Looking to eventually upgrade to something bigger than my current ‘16 Camry, and since I am looking to stay with Toyota, I’ve got my heart pretty much set on a RAV4. Since I have most of the niceties that I could get in my Camry aside from dynamic cruise control, emergency braking, and the JBL sound system, when the time does come, I’ll likely go with something like an XLE Premium or Limited. Definitely planning on scheduling a test drive of one of the dealers in my area, and I’ve been hearing lots of good things! No wonder you see a ton of these (and also older RAV4s) on the road!

we just bought used 2020 RAV4 XLE. I think if they have CVT transmission would be a lot smoother. Transmission is jerky on 1st to 2nd gear and i don't like Electronic parking. Makes annoying sounds every time you put on "P".

I bought the premium, so you figure it out, as to which I liked better.

I was deciding between a Rav4 or a Tacoma but I chose a Tacoma because I fell in love with it lol

Very informative video, thank you! I didn't know that larger wheels also meant more ground clearance. I always thought that the larger wheels were offset by lower profile tires. Is there something in the way of specifications from Toyota that show this? I ask because I just messed up the front part of my car on a curb, and an looking for my next vehicle to have a higher ground clearance.

Just the wheels design is good enough reason to take the Premium.

I still throw couple thousand bucks more Honda CRV for it’s smooth riding quality great looking interior and safety package and many more reason.

For me, XLE but no C. Package. I don't want a moonroof, and although I wouldn't mind the auto. tailgate, I can do without that to avoid the moonroof. Why put a hole in a perfectly good roof?
