@Corey Micallef not a huge difference, same suspension. Shorter stem on the 2021 version. I feel like the 2021 version is more of a trail bike and less of a XC bike.
@Corey Micallef BEAUTY! You will like the bike, I'm sure of it. I'm a bit of a bigger dude, so I keep the suspension stiffer. But also, keep your receipt because if you decide to upgrade your suspension, SR Suntour has an upgrade program and will give you $100 off.
@Corey Micallef basically just stand on the bike, and the suspension should sink down a bit (30%). Id say just play around with riding and trying different options to see how it feels
Hi JR. Im considering buying a Scott Aspect 960 this month as a secod bike for offroad and trails.( I hav a full suspension carbon bike for the Bike Tracks) Im just wondering about a few things. You didnt mention much about the front suspension and what range it had. is it sensative or hav much rebound etc? Can the suspension be locked out/Isolated? Is there any delay on the rear derailer when u shift? You mentioned there was no clutch so Im curious regarding how smooth is it shifting up and down? How did u fins the saddle? 3 reviews ive read all said the bike is fantastic but the saddle is sub standard adn would definitely require changing..thks Rgds Ger
Hey, lots of good questions here. is it sensitive or have much rebound etc? Can the suspension be locked out/Isolated?- The suspension isn't great, since it's a low grade fork, however, I did ride the bike park on it and aside from bottoming out a few times, it was fine. I don't think it can be locked out. Is there any delay on the rear derailleur when u shift? No, the shifting was great. No issues at all. Saddle- was one of my fav parts of the bike. Syncro's makes great components and saddles.
Yeah the derailleur will be noisy since it doesn’t have a clutch. The forks are only spring loaded, so they’re clunky. They’re also just low budget forks.
@@JRMTB Okay! Yes that s a good idea! I have aspect 960 too! Today I tryed downhill 37.5 km/h soft tires goin on! Still good balance tires. Happy summer!
