I have always thought that the CrossTrek needs an STI version. It would have a turbo and a 6 speed. Then all the people who want a WRX hatchback would be happy again :-)

Its has alot of tech ,independent suspension ,it never gets stuck ,great gas mileage, sporty look ,durable engine and that's why I'm purchasing one next weekend !! I cant wait .I just watched this vid to see Sarah 😍

4:10 I'm always impressed at how you can look at something and come up with a reference about it, be it movie related (E.T in this case) or otherwise (like the HDMI exhaust tip). Once you point something like that out, I just can't stop seeing it! The added bonus is that it makes everyday boring tasks that much less boring when you see the "alternate" reality! 😜 Thank you for making life more fun!

Agree totally with you on the manual trans. I cant stand automatics. I've been told that especially with vehicles with more power the manufacturer prefers automatics so they can control shift points as you mentioned in this video, even in manual mode it shifts itself. I was told by a dealership mechanic by being automatic the manufacturer has lower warranty issues from....those of us that like to 'use' a vehicle to it's full potential. I'm 47 and have owned 1 automatic vehicle in my life. Replaced 0 transmissions and 0 clutches even though I run my vehicles to over 200k. Thanks again for the vid. Keep up the great work.

I just bought a Subaru Crosstrek Sport 3 weeks ago and I'm very happy so far. Granted, I'm upgrading from a total pos but after test driving 4 comparable vehicles I was more then impressed with how the Crosstrek Sport feels and handles.

If that came with gold wheels, a Turbo, a 6 speed transmission, and the better color blue I think it would be a slam dunk!!!

Love the review. I owned my crosstrek since it came out. 2013. The XV. Crosstrek which subaru dropped the xv. Maybe a new one is in order, still love mine and its durability. 👍🆒️👍

If I could make a recommendation on you going back and forth to get your camera, however as much as I like to see that. I would recommend a dji drone they have a follow me feature with 4K capabilities and you can set the range. Just a thought for you. I enjoy your vlogs a lot. Thanks for your hard work

Another fun review with Sarah. I love the Subaru XV (Crosstrek in the US). In my country Subaru doesn't exist since 2008 but last year I lived in Chile for 5 months and I saw a LOT of Subaru XV's there, they're very popular in Chile.

Ya nice to have ground clearance on that Crosstrek. Last weekend I misjudged a rock sticking out of the middle of a logging road and hit the front control arm on my 2015 Sportage going 20 mph. Talk about pucker-factor.

On a different persons video, I read a bunch of comments about "Crosstrek struggles with mall parking lot speed bumps" uhhh this video proves that is wrong. Crosstrek is VERY capable !! Thank you as always for your excellent videos !

Just bought one in pearl metallic white, love everything about it 10/10 I recommend it.

Cameras always flatten our terrain. I had my fj damn near vertical and the pics were unimpressive.

"You could wash a whole dog in here". Oh you and your imperial metrics!

So I've learnt from a dealer that the reason for no manual options in the higher models is the eyesight system. Since it requires acceleration/braking intervention to prevent collisions, it wouldn't be able to disconnect a clutch's engagement in order to do an emergency stop. The engine would either continue to drive it forward or stall - both of which are not ideal. Great review by the way!

A few years back I was driving a little 1.5 turbo diesel Dacia Duster on dirt roads in Iceland just after sunset around midnight. I felt like I had a lot of the road to myself. Never did much offroad driving until then but that little Dacia was a champ

I just bought a 2021 Crosstrek, same color, 2L with manual. I can rev it as high as I like, and it doesn't feel slow. Super fun and cute car.

Being a Subaru enthusiast I enjoyed your review. Although I enjoy all your reviews. I have heard that Subaru Does not offer a manual transmission on any vehicle that has the eyesight system because the integration is not practical with a manual transmission. I sure hope they figure it out. I agree with you on the gold wheels. They would look sweet on that !
