Finally they changed the thick back CRT touch screen, same as Mazda which is a great improvement for 2021. But still no engine cover, unlike Vios.

Great review Joo! Here in the USA, we have similar Corolla but it looks sportier with bigger 18 inch wheels and a 2 liter engine. Due to 2 liter engine, it's much faster.

Nice to know they already replaced the headunit. IMO, the small screen in the first versions were awful to look at.

Can I know if the headunit is replaced in all toyota dealership? Or that Toyota Otis is the one only changing the headunit?

It's really nice to see they change the touchscreen to the original one :) and I think much better if they add the tss just like the hybrid version and does the hybrid version use the same touchscreen with this 1.6 V? Then how about the G and E? :)

The V Hybrid trim uses the same head unit as the V trim as, the V and V Hybrid trims for 2021 adds Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and Smart Device Link with MiraCast. While the E and G trims still uses the old T-Link system head unit.

@@keanevernethcalimlim2176 Well personally I prefer this over the old one since the first batches were 6.8 inches and quite aftermarket looking. Good thing they finally got rid of it but the volume knob is on the wrong side (same with the Corolla Cross).

The Exterior design are the same and the only changes for 2021 is the addition of 8-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto plus SDL with MiraCast on the V and V Hybrid trims. while the E and G trims still gets the T-Link infotainment system.

Based on resale value,the Civic is better,i don’t know if Civic with Cvt still has high resale value,because Cvt is expensive to replace,for me i choose altis for fuel efficiency and cheaper parts.
