2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Walkaround -Why is it worth as much as 2 Fortuners? 

LC Prado is very popular here in Australia while it is otherwise with Fortuner. While it is much more expensive than the Fortuner (top spec Prado is around A$ 85,000 vs 60,000 Fortuner) , it is more comfortable and capable, for example it is a full time four wheel drive. You can only feel the difference why the big gap in price when you actually drive both vehicles. The build quality and feel of the Prado is way better than the Fortuner in particular the amenities and materials used in the interior like the soft touch dashboards and door sidings. Moreover, the Prado drives so smoothly and quitely. It is a proven extremedvoff-roading SUV for decades here in Australia. I own one and very satisfied with it. However, the price of Prado in the Philippines is much more expensive compared to here when we do enjoy much more features and amenities for instance the 360 camera and larger screen infotainment. I just love this car.

Jpepa, the biggest answer as to why the local prado has such high pricing. But because you don't get to see one everyday, it's always cool to look at. The fortuner, otoh, is so common already.

This is alot better than the standard version of lc200 here in the philippines.

Ride comfort definitely better than fortuner,,this is for rich people midsize suv.

Because it apparently lasts longer than competition, reliability and peace of mind don’t come cheap.

I'll just add few more hundred thousand pesos and get the LC200 or get a fortuner and an FJ cruiser.

After 4 months wait time, finally driving the lc prado gxl next tuesday.

what is Prado’s segment? mid-size SUV or large sized SUV?

The Prado is only 1” wider than the Fortuner NOT 5”.

For my opinion for that price I rather get luxury car brand or add more to get the LC

Of course it’s worth 2 fortuners. This has KDSS. Basically you’re still buying a landcruiser only smaller

with 4m you might as well buy a Nissan Patrol

Nissan Patrol would be better at this price point.

Same engine as Innova, outdated infotainment system for 4M😂 Its for Rich people who doesnt care about spending their millions.

The Fortuner is very dated. Just like the Montero. I'll pay extra for a more modern vehicle.

It’s not 5 inches wider than Fortuner, in fact it’s only 30mm wider (1 inch) same length and 40mm taller!

Yung normal ride ng Fortuner is same as ride ng Prado pag nasa lubak ang Prado lol

Same engine, no 360 cam, twice the price. This is only for people who can spare two mil for ride comfort and prestige. Nobody offroads this in the Philippines.
