That is a great looking truck. First vehicle was brand new, my last one I bought was new, I think that will be my final one. Would like to get a second vehicle, used a truck just to haul or pull things. Have always admired the Toyota Tacoma. Just something functional.
I have two 2017 Toyotas: a Sienna and a RAV4. Need to buy another set of wheels in August for my eldest son who will be 17. Thinking about the Tacoma if I can locate a low mileage pre-owned model that doesn’t break the bank. The Toyotas run forever if properly maintained. Wishing you many more safe and happy miles!
Nice truck! We have a 1991 Toyota PU since 1991, and it's a work horse! We towed a vehicle from California to El Salvador for my step-daughter in 2002 with it. It was an adventure and that truck has been so dependable. Toyota makes good vehicles, in my opinion. Your Tacoma is a nice looking truck!
The new 2024 Tacoma's are nice, but I am not a big fan of the turbocharged 4 cylinder engine. I'm sure that it will be fine, longevity wise, but, personally, I prefer a normally aspirated engine. It's just a matter of personal preference, nothing more. The double cab is perfect, because I can use the space for my AC/DC portable refrigerator and such. For now though, I'll just run my old, reliable, well maintained, low mileage vehicle for at least a couple more years. If the economy continues to go downhill, perhaps I'll be able to get a used vehicle in decent condition, for a decent price. People here are starting to get rid of their trucks and are trading them in for small, fuel efficient cars. People here in Hawaii are starting to hurt financially, and it's probably only a matter of time before a good deal can be had. I don't do an insane amount of driving, so a Tacoma would fit the bill perfectly.
@@PrepperDawg We live a corner area of three states. OK does not require trailer tags. They have been visiting, taking of the tags, load up the trailers and back to OK. Be safe. Like that truck!
