Hi Patrick - intro video is live, and we're up to the second update on the site. Trying to write the third at the moment :) www.caradvice.com.au/mercedes-benz/gls/ James
Feels good Driving, still lags the acceleration, while moving from stop or Slow movements, .compared to 2.0 engine cars. Don’t know why all the car companies are adapting 1 or 1.5 litres engines.these days,!
The kamiq in standard spec is better value, better quality ,larger for rear seat passengers, dual zone climate control and rear air vents are standard. Same drive train and engine as T cross but better quality finishes. Its also newscorps car of the year 2020.
Should have used the 2.0 in the golf at 110 kw would have a lot more spirited drive .for that money U can get a Vitara turbo with a decent eng (103kw) and a TC auto and will be a lot more reliable long term not to mention better resale the euros once they reach a certain age punters tend to stay away thus valuation drop south
Sitting up so high in a little car makes me seasick. This is $30K and the Polo is $22K . Where does the $8K go? Same size as a Polo and same engine but slower, heavier, less economical, shorter range, higher CO2 with only a couple more storage litres if loaded to the roof. I simply don't get what this car is for?
Depends on need, for example: I have a pretty steep and short driveway so the extra ride height would help, and very often I transport my elderly parents who will have trouble getting in and out of a Polo. The extra space also helps when picking up relos from the airport who bring ridiculous amount of luggage. But I still don't want to drive a big car. Saying that, I'll probably get a Kamiq over the T-Cross. You're right on paper, this car is probably not worth the extra 8k over a Polo....but if you have the need you'll probably pay the price. I heard they've already sold over 2000 cars since release (even during pandemic).
For years I have been in poverty in Africa, my mother tells me every day my son when are we going to get out of this misery, but I don't have the answer, I took the canoe twice and I had to die, help me make my dream come true and finance my transport project
Extremely bad car, what a 1 litre enginer can do? even 1.5 litre is very low pickup. Most vehicles are 3 litre and at least 2.5 litres both european and japanese. 1 litre is unimaginable and a definite no and a definite dealbreaker
Idk much about cars but I would guess I dont need 150hp or 200hp to get to work. And insurance would also get alot higher. And filling up the tank costs alot aswell. Price was 26-29 SEK a liter before Swedish government made it cheaper this year. Now its ca 19 sek for diesel and 17,80 SEK for gasoline. I was thinking to get a newer golf/polo but this one is cheaper and takes me to work with 95 hp. (My golf now is 105hp diesel). Does it make alot of difference between gas/diesel???
