I hope that this scooter breaks the jinx of performance scooters in India and becomes a genuine alternative to bikes. It's simply awesome. Congratulations Yamaha.
5.5 litre fuel tank for a 155cc scooter. It should be minimum 10 litres. We dont carry lugguage anytime but fuel is most important. In a fuel injected bike there is 1 litre fuel which cant be used. So practically we get only 4.5 litres usable range.

Good scooter, could've been better with: a. Disc brakes at the rear b. All LED lights at the rear c. Better instrument console with navigation d. Slightly larger fuel tank capacity
The ride stiffness is similar to Aprilai SR150. So if you want a smooth riding experience in Indian roads, this is NOT the scooter for you. You can feel every bump and every gravel on the road. But the people who want to buy this wont really care about ride quality. They want looks and pickup speed and this is No.1 in india on those regards.
This engine is gem Yamaha should have given large fuel tank for all those considering it for touring 80-100kmph is more than enough Waiting for something like RT15 with comfortable seating and some fairing with large travel suspension
Still to date in india for the commoners we never really get what we want....those who are used to cruise leg space of burgman 125 will find knee jerks and uncomfortable on other scooters...but burgman 125 feels underpowered and it's small wheel base gives you low confidence on highways..really wish burgman 200, 450, 650 cc, yamaha tmax, Nmax 155 were available in india, also aprillia's and Honda's high end scooters. International review of aerox 155 on youtube for pillion rider comfort is not good. Same goes for aprillia. Those who are used to 125 engine smoothness of any brand will find aprillia 160 suspension and engine tuning bit harsh while riding. But hey i know you cant compare 125 to 160cc. But surprisingly aerox does a fab job when it comes to smoothness. Only wish is it could have the cruise leg space of burgman. There are videos on youtube where burgman is still one the very best when it comes to comfort. Burgman 125 has good mileage, comfort, good storage space...not forgetting to mention a water bottle holder and mobile charger with small compartment. Aerox also has the small front compartment or glove box one may say. When burgman launch was announced the biggest disappointment was it came with a 125 access engine...and small wheel base..you cant really call it a maxi scooter. Still as a personal preference i would say it fairly does better than activas, jupiter and all such.
Biggest drawback of aerox is pillion seat and its footrest position as well as low fuel capacity.. yahmah should seriously think of these cons to make it more successful..
It's gonna be 2 years till I sell my Ntorq n can save up till I get this by that time ill be 30 lol. Still though a sporty powerful scooter with a good boot space for grocery runs n occasional highway cruises is enough.
Since 3 years I have order this scooters but cannot deliver so I have buy Ntroq Race XP after one month I seen this scooter have registered in india I feel so bad on Feb 2022 it will deliver to our state but am happy but it ntroq ❤️❤️❤️ I just love it's 😍😍😍
Call me nostalgic, but R15 V1 was considered a sweet deal for on road price of 1 lakh back in 2010. Now we need to pay 1.5 for a scooter with essentially the same engine. Should we call it inflation or manufacturer's greed?!!!
Whenever I think of a scooter. I think it as a utility vehicle (for Home purpose). Like carrying LPG cylinders, Vegetable Bags, etc at the centre space provided. People's change in taste of scooter like this can take sometime. Specially here in India.
How is solved my nvx vva 2021 aerox is the following. I am tall so I had the seat remade to fit me. The front I replaced with lcm cnc and solved, back was racing boy shocks but yss is good as well. Lights I replaced with x3 titans on the front and a full A11 led rgb control system, back I replaced with cool low profile lights as well. I also added perelli diablo rosso scooter tires, almost impossible to get out here in Vietnam the best tires you can buy for this bike ever.. also I added a full crash frame around rhe bike And then had made as a unique one off CUSTOMIZED IN ORANGE "the do not normally make orange so had to do it with them as a 1 off" a full body Armour protection system that I had to import via Japan and Indonesia... it took some time but made my NVX/Aerox unique in the world. OK put the videos up. My nvx is unique global .. and solves all issues ... also take note even with all this done to it ... it is still 1/3rd cheaper than a Honda SH out here in Vietnam. And it looks better and runs better haha comments welcome.
The aerox rear suspension is extremely bad and harsh, yamaha have KYB suspension available but its too costly. Anyone planning to buy this vehicle can rethink and take a test ride through bad road.
I think there is space for 150 scooter. But Yamaha will have to make space on floor board for luggage, like honda activa. Otherwise it will become another niche product.
