Muzi, thanks to you I negotiated a deal on a 2013 BMW M3 V8 that was going for R620k. With your tips i got it down to R520k with a rod bearing service (a faulty part on the V8 BMW’s) and free delivery to CPT from Jozi. I am over the moon, and with that R100k im saving it for a holiday in Dec. Danko Chief🙏🏾🤞🏾
The 1st 20 seconds of this vid were a personal attack to me 🤣 thought I'd buy this car a few months ago, but the numbers weren't adding up (not even close💔😅). Watched all your videos and ended up buying a pre owned Suzuki Baleno glx. So thank you for all your vids! You have no idea how much they've helped some of us
Hey Muzi so before i started watching ur videos i wanted a Polo TSI 2022. But ended up buying a 2017 Polo Vivo with 46000km for R159000. Peace of mind for now and saved a lot in money
Muzi, can I make a suggestion? When your commentary gets hot & you switch to your first language, would you mind adding English subtitles for that section for the rest of Africa gang who’re left floating when it’s just getting juicy? 😅 MacG does it on the podcast & I’ve found it helps those who don’t understand the language connect w/ you in a more unique way.
Mina shame i miss this car i don't wanna lie, when i sold it my heart yohhhh. Mine was white 40 TFSI with a black roof running on 18 inch aloy audi black wheels and it looked amazing. Pricey yes mara the comfort of the car was amazing. problem with the 40 TFSI is stop and go traffic. It has a lot of torque steer and grabby brakes meaning when you move from a stand still it doesnt move smoothly. It feels like you activated launch control and wants to zoom off everytime you u accelerate. I though maybe the car was just braking in since it was brand new but that thing never stopped and it seems almost every A1 40 TFSI has that. Another thing is the back seat. I'm a tall guy and i tend to move the chair back a bit to feel more comfortable but doing that limits the space behind n no one could sit behind me. Boot space is also very small, very small. Another thing is fuel consumption hai hai hai yabona that one nooooo. 9 to 10 litres per 100 KMs njalo. u can get to 6s and 7s if you drive it on normal mode and slow but for a small car that for me was just unacceptable. overall 6.9/10. Now i'm driving a 2020 Ford fiesta Auto and quality doesn't come near the Audi. But was was half the price so angikhali. Upgrading next year mid year for a much bigger car. Bhut Muzi if you see this neh Please check out the Haval H6 GT i'm considering it for next year. If you find one please review it. That car is difficult to find
Just started watching your reviews. Your narration and analysis of the cars you drive is top tier 👌🏾. You deserve a show on Ignition TV. Spice things up with your comantary.
I've actually sat behind the wheel of this car. Brilliant little car. You can feel that it's still an Audi even though it's like the Audi version of the latest Opel Corsa.
The Suzuki Jimmy is a great car. It has such good ground clearance that I managed to dive under it in my review on it. Check it out and let me know what you think of the car.
Let’s correct this real quick. By default, VW will give you a 45 000 / 3 years service plan. With my 2017 polo 1.2 TSI comfortline, it was extended to a 60 000 km / 3 years maintenance plan. With my 2020 Polo 1.0 R line, I told them I’m not taking the car until they extend that to a 90 000 km / 5 years maintenance plan. I had them compete with another VW dealership for the same car. In a nutshell, you can always extend your service plan to a maintenance plan (except for polo vivos). Otherwise nice review bro, I’m a big VW fan
Hi Muzi, would you recommend a polo gti over an audi a1 for a lady? Taking into consideration the crime stats about vw. Between these 2 cars, which one would you recommend for a lady? Thanks
U cannot take fuel into account when working out monthly costs. It will apply what ever car u buy. So it's an fixed cost. I would even stretch that to insurance. Itl apply to all albeit there being a logarithmic growth as u increase the value of vehicle. But I get what ur saying. Nice vids. You have an extra sub :)
Fuel is NOT a fixed cost. Someone who drives a Kia picanto won't spend the same amount on fuel as someone who drives a BMW M3. The car you choose somewhat determines how much you'll spend on fuel.
Please also check out Renault koleos, Renault Mégane standard or RS or Toyota mk5 supra or 2022 corolla hatch or Mazda 2/3 or 2022 cx5 or 2021 nissan Qashqai also maybe you can do fiat 500
Muzi, great review yes this Is a very overpriced car, reason I’ve always chosen audi, merc or bmw over vw though Is cause of the freeway plan, no extra costs involved after purchase that monthly budget stays the same after some time down the line
Muzi, I understand you’re not a financial advisor, but check my man… I’m looking at a pre owned 2016 Golf R. Most examples in the country around what I’m looking at and under 100k kilometers are averaging 420k-480k. I’m 20. How would you go about negotiating insurance if it can be negotiated?
