Nice review, but the volume control next to the gear lever is actually for your passenger to control music :) The driver has the controls on the steering wheel :)

I just test drove an A3 FWD version and was very impressed . I am considering a 23 A3 FWD with a 18in wheel sport suspension pkg. 38mpg hwy, regular fuel, and is quicker than the numbers reflect ( 201hp/221 torque)....Why? because it also has a new mild hybrid 48 volt battery system which contributes to the acceleration/power. ( this adds 12hp and 37 lb ft of torque upon acceleration for short bursts.....and which is not mentioned in this review). I am looking for a more practical replacement for my 2018 Audi TT Quattro.... I am now retired and in NC and don't feel the need for Quattro. I am also considering a 23 BMW 2 series RWD 2 door w/M Sport pkg, 23 Mercedes CLA250 FWD w/ AMG line sport pkg , and a new MK8 VW GTI.....

I like my 2019 A3 s line PP tbh, just because of looks and not having a giant screen as my control center. Happy that they have an A3 for every style though I’d love to go to an Audi meet just to look at some sweet rs’s 😄 Also are you sure that’s the new horsepower ratings? Mine has 228 hp and 258 tq lol

Does this trim comes with ambient lighting?

Who else think the a4 headlights would look better on this A3?

Does it have ventilation seat?

Would an s line a3 be better value than a base a4?

The cupholder and center console bother me. You can't slide the console forward if there is a cup in that first cupholder. So if you and a passenger have drinks, you'll have to ask them to pick up their drink, so you can get to the console. For a car this price, and with a history of cars that don't have that issue, this is such an obvious oversight, that I know there had to have been a conversation about this in the design stage. And I'm very curious how they justified their decision. This alone is something that keeps me from buying a car. No matter how luxurious, how sporty, etc., if there is something that is used daily, that isn't designed well, or is rendered almost useless, I won't be able to drive without always being annoyed at this little thing. Too many other cars have this figured out.

Underpowered. Doesn't even have the same HP as a GLI. WTF? For the price that's bad.
