Very nice... I wish you would have shown the locking door and the door opened! Thank you for moving your camera slow enough to get a good view of what you showed!
I would agree. It is expensive for what you get. However, you’re not gonna find anything that’s comparable for a better price. Plus most of the units you’re going to find that are comparable are going to be made of wood. No, the AC has no heat element. I think if you get this unit without the add-ons that I got it would be around 5500.
@@4wdAdventurz I agree. Aside from a DIY project (which is tedious), the camper market is pretty much a seller's market. I cant find ANY used teardrops near me. Thanks for the reply!
What do you do if it is cold outside? I can imagine it would get quite cold inside without a heater of some sort. I’d consider what some have suggested of electric blankets and such but I can be prone to sinus infections if I’m not careful and my dog would be with me most of the time so that’s a no-go for me. I’d need a heater of some sort but wouldn’t even know what’s safe to use (except I know propane heaters inside would not be safe). 😅
If it's cold outside and I want to be outside, I just make a fire. As for inside the camper, a heated blanket is a game changer for the most part. However, like you said, it doesn't change the air temp in the camper. I'd say a small electric heater would be enough to keep the chill out of the camper (along with a heated blanket of course). I think the coldest I've camped in the runaway was about 30 degrees..
Yeah! Things been solid as could be. I did a full year review video over on my other YT channel. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dY4jX8LsNaQ.htmlsi=dS_ndoH2Vt5Xif-Y
camper has been great. No complaints on it. Definitely would not fit three people. Not even close. Runaway camper makes a 6 x 8 camper that could possibly fit three smaller people. it’s basically 2 foot wider than the one I have.
Of course! We have a rooftop tent, a California King sized 23Zero Breezeway. Between me, my wife and two kids, we can't all fit in the tent. With the runaway me and my oldest (5yrs old) can't sleep in the tent while my wife and our youngest and sleep in the runaway. Or if the wife and I want to go off for a small get away we can take the rooftop tent of the runaway, whichever would better suit the trip weather. We chose the cool Camp basically because it was cheaper. Since we only needed room for one adult and one child, it just seemed to make sense..
You know I looked at it today and I think you're right. I'll have to keep an eye on it. I'm sure it will get worse over time. I do have a 3yr warranty. I'll be sure to have them adjust it before the 3 yrs is up. Good eye Warren!
Thanks! I thought it was fair. You can go on their website and they will give you all the specs for each model they have. Runaway Campers is the company name. Tha ks for watching buddy!
@@4wdAdventurz my car says it’s rated 1000lbs. I’ll have to see what payload means. I never towed anything so I actually kinda scared that I’ll ruin my car.
I been looking at the Venturist and the Kong by Tiny Camper. Only reason I am leaning torwards Kong is rhino lining on the outside. Kong comes with alot the runaway dont for only $1k more.
@4wdAdventurz ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IrKwiiLJ_gA.html This is the Kong. Made in Groveland, FL. Alot of similarities to venturist just has separated back for camp kitchen. Roof rack and rhino lining is standard.
we live in zephyrhills, about 30 miles northeast of tampa, my wife and i like the runaway rouser, just so you know, a few times it was hard to hear what you were saying,, i didn't quite get how many gallon water tank, we'd get 2 if we get a camper
I ordered this as an add on when I ordered the camper. I forget the brand of them. They make this one (7gal) and a 5gal one as well. If you go to the runway campers website you can see the specs and brand of you want to get one yourself.
@@4wdAdventurz cool, thank-you,, i was asking more when you replied, 😇 , never mind the second question , thank-you though, i shared your video with my wife, she has a home office, she works ALL the time it seems, stay safe,,
Thankyou for sharing. I like the outdoor shower but any thoughts on how the hose kinks or gets pinched coming out of the tank? Do they offer a 90° fitting to help with that sharp bend on the hose?
