I'm glad someone finally showed my point. Cars aren't getting more expensive, consumers just want more and more features on bigger and bigger vehicles. Everybody wants a $50,000 Telluride or MDX the second they pop out one baby.

Hahaha--agreed. The current BMW 5-series is the same length as the E38 (late 90s/early 00s) 740i. The 3-series kept getting bigger so that's why they introduced the 1 (now 2)-series.

Im looking at this car but once I get to the XLE I’m thinking why don’t I just go up a tiny bit more and get the lower trim hybrid Rav4 instead

Which one did you decide to buy? I am having a heck of a time trying to figure out with driver's seat is more comfy. It's been frustrating. I'm tall and more leg than torso.)

Well, the good news is that I've done the Tucson already (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E-By4O_vjRU.html). I probably won't do the 2022 Sequoia with the all-new 2023 coming out soon (so I'll probably wait for that). I'll definitely get to the Sportage, Highlander, and Sorento...eventually... ;)

I can’t see myself spending 24k and still get a horrendously cheap looking car.. I’d rather get the LE or XLE

Honestly, if I were getting the Corolla Cross, I would be just looking at getting the XLE. In terms of the L being a "cheap looking car"--the main styling difference is the rims. I'm hard-pressed to justify spending an extra $2,350 to step-up from the L to the LE primarily just for rims...at some point aftermarket options will be available for less, and that's probably the route I'd take.

You’re right! The Rims gives this low cost vehicle a great look. I ordered an L then switched to an LE. When my LE arrived sad to say it didn’t work out at my bank. I waited 2 months! I cried like a baby. 🥺
