Well progress is progress on speaker wires into doors...lol..you get a pass for using factory speaker wires for roof and rear door speakers....but black wire for positive and negative on amps..blasphemy 😂 ...my back hurts just watching you guys crawl around in that truck ....I don't miss that

​ @SoundsGoodStereo Looks great. Amazing install and attention to detail! BUT...just a few questions: 1. Any reason you chose to use the older Aerospace 8x12 DSP over the new AERO 8|12? It would be nice to be able to use the new Gladiator knob remote vs the older RCD as well. Perhaps the client already owned the original? 2. Not sure I'd be happy burying and suffocating a pair of $2000 Utopia TBMs behind those OEM HK grills in the front door panels, especially without getting them much more centered in the grill and out as close as possible behind the OEM grills. The restriction from the small openings in the OEM HK grills alone are going to cause significant "beaming" for the driver's MLP vs. the passenger door tweeter, well beyond the tweeter's own inherent beaming/off-axis response pattern (and Yes, I've used the TBM in one of my own vehicles). As it is, the Driver's Side tweeter fires right into the side of the steering column. :( Why not fabricate custom Sail Panel mounts/pods so they are higher, potentially angled more on-axis (if desired), and closer to the midrange? Or At Least modify the mounts that you fabricated for the OEM door locations to get the tweeters centered directly behind the red OEM HK grills and as close as possible behind them as well? With the laser you should be able to create OEM-look grills with HK logos to cover the tweeters if mounted in the Sail Panels. You could even use red acrylic/plexi perimeter accent rings to tie into the OEM look. Yeah, more $$$, but it doesn't seem like there are any budget limitations on this one anyway. As you mentioned, I realize that your camera's lens perspective makes the TBMs look like they are much deeper, but even 1/2" is significant due to the small OEM grill openings along with not being centered in them. 🤷‍♂ Just seems like you're unnecessarily "gimping" the potential performance of these amazing $2000 tweeters. 😞 IDK, but no way in hell that would be the solution for the TBM tweeters if this were my vehicle. Jus' my Opinion and me thinkin' out loud based on the face value of what I'm seeing. Otherwise, it looks (and I'm sure it will sound) stellar. Cheers

May I ask why you put tweeters in the door and mids in the dash, and not the other way around? Does having the tweeters low, drop the soundstage? Just trying to learn.

Having a 2019 Ram Bighorn, this series is absolutely amazing. There is no way in hell my wife would ever let me put a system of this caliber in it.

What cable are you using for making your own RCA cable's?
