As a newer rider 12k is a little to steep…I think there are better options for the price. But hey one day maybe I’ll have the luxury of owning a Ducati 😎
anything with two wheels is awesome, I didn't get a half-way nice bike until 40, after 20 years road-motorcycle riding, hang in there and just ride and be safe :)
I recently started doing all of the pictures for my local Ducati dealer here in north east Ohio and wow I love the look and feel of the scrambler I was shocked!
*_That Ducati Scrambler is a sweet bike. My buddy got one, and we got some excellent footage up in Lamoille Canyon. You have to hear that thing with exhaust. It's Just Awesome. Thanks for sharing, Chase._*
I never worry about the wind on the highway I only ever owned one bike with wind protection so you just get used to it. Plenty of fly screens for this ride
OC crew, multi-tasking, whic is to say non-perefect listeing, however, wondering if the dual 17" wheels received mention? or emphasis? Dual 17"s are the standard, as you know, for sport-bikes, Superbikes, Supermotos , and unique to this model in the scrambler line. It is Radical and supermoto-like, that spokes , while heavy, are provided on street-set-up = radical combo, 17's and spokes , very cool , imo
I do like this bike , it is approachable but most of all it doesn't have those annoying electronics but for that price maybe it would be my second bike after an MT 07, but never the less a great bike 👍
OC: Personally I'd get the $10k Scrambler Icon (the base model Scrambler for those that don't know) and just customize it to a point where it'd just be a modern take on the original Monster.
Love the bike not the price but I’d buy one if I could afford it. Looks like I’d have to check myself a lot though because wheelie’s wheelie’s and more wheelie’s and other Hooligan shite
I am in my 40s and the only thing that didn’t make me walk out of the store with one was just the color scheme. I wish they have new color combo for 2023. I love the seating position and how comfortable it is but too expensive, what would you recommend in the same category, I looked at KTM and the seat is higher and as expensive.
They have like 4 or 5 models with the title Scrambler. The Urban Motard is the only red and white color scheme. It is the only one with the SM vibe and I don't think they make the Desert Sled anymore.
Great review - thanks for doing! I’m in the Atlanta as well. Do you think the ride from midtown ATL to Blood mountain or Suches would be to much on the Scrambler? I have an ‘22 MT09 and until I added a Puig windscreen, it could get pretty tiring getting up there (and back).
OC, No t to be pedantic, however isn't the Scrambler air and OIL coooled ? Your point about heat in 'stop and go' still stand, however I suspect it isn't a V4 of course
A seat can never be too comfy, i hope it is "a little too soft" as Chase says, of course a proper seat has support as well, just looking at my mom's old bike, a Yamaha RD400, it has a great seat, why have bikes devolved? In this aspect, spread sheets and weight specs I suspect, tragic .. On my SX1000 I had to exchange the seat day -1 , like the "Harley-tax" for sport bikes and Only Michael Gibert (real Racer) told the truth about the seat in his review of the excellent Ninja SX1000
OC - I just can't see 12k for this, the monster is less than 1k more; doesn't make sense to choose this over a monster if you're absolutely determined to get a ducati. I mean for the same money seems like a mt09sp would be the better value.
Ride the thing in the wet at your peril. The front mudguard looks like a total afterthought. Where's the radiator protection? Those things are expensive to replace on normal bikes, with Ducati tax....prohibitive.
@@NakovGoce What?! Is that thing air cooled? At that price? That's laughable. Are they subsidising the Diavel? Chase should do a terrible value for money show and feature Ducati in shining, flashing lights.
