This is a one-part video of the 2022 Ford F-150 “Hennessey” Velociraptor we just completed for a complete custom stereo system upgrade. From the factory, this truck has the B&O Unleashed which leaves a lot to be desired. Shipped all the way from Texas, this truck received our "Elevated" Plug & Play package. Liked and subscribed for more builds!! You guys tackle a Mazda max-5 miata rf? The nd2 version hardtop convertible? The Bose system with the headrest speakers connected to a mic for phone calls with the top down is a good idea, just not executed very well. Mazda did a great job building a fun sporty car. And I’m sure to keep prices reality they cut corners on other parts…such as the sound system. (And a turbo lol). But ya, I think you guys would execute well, especially given the limited space.

Really cool, but I would hate having the subs take so much space on my Tremor. I use that space almost every day. I'm actually pretty happy with my unleashed system.

We have some things in the works that doesn’t use the underseat storage, but glad your happy with the factory system. Many ways to improve the factory itself, like our block off plates, sound treatment and ForScan changes.

@@SoundsGoodStereo I would love that! It definitely has room for improvement, but better than my BMW 5er that was more expensive than the f150.. I don't even see a point in the headrest speaker. I have to have my head hard pressed against them to hear anything!

Amazing video, thank you...what about the FPX Focal amplifiers? Is there much difference (sound wise on the full range channels) for example between the 5.1200 and the 4.400 SQ?

Yes, you can tell the difference on the interior speaker section.

Not sure how to describe it exactly, it’s been years since I listened to both, in the same vehicle. We have not heard the Morel amplifier, no idea on its performance.

Do you have to run a dsp for the subs to be able to have bass work good at low volume as well as high volume?

Not always, sometimes it’s hard to walk that balance without a DSP. A flatter response subwoofer enclosure is easier to blend, but might sacrifice top end output.

My raptor hopefully gets here in a month. Can’t wait to hear the sub box with 4 6.5” subs. Hopefully it’s enough bass. Is the box in this one ported?

The four 6.5-inch has more low end bass than these four 10-inch. The four 10-inch have more intensity in the upper range though, good for rock music and 80-90s music.

Yes, all B&O trucks that have a full system require a ZEN unit

I’ve got a complete system installed in my Raptor from Sage, Don and team. The 4 6.5 sub arrangement is phenomenal!!! These guys are rockstars who care more about quality and their customers than making a quick $$.

How do you stop the front collision light malfunction from coming on from when the bass plays hard....I'm running 4 8s in a 21 f150

Sounds like a voltage issue more than a bass issue. Did you run power + ground from the battery to the amplifiers?

@@SoundsGoodStereo it's. It not a voltage issue at all....it's a camera in the housing with rear view mirror...my windshield moves and it thinks it malfunctioning from the vibration

The B&O lacks performance, so if you are able to purchase the truck you love without the B&O, then that is the option you want. But in order to get the other "features" you want requires B&O, then it is what it is. We can make all of them sound good, but find the truck you love and we will make it sound the way you want.

Aerospace in these setups but the PRO Amplifiers with DSP have the same capabilities

No, the factory electrical along with efficient speakers, amplifiers, acoustical sound treatment, etc make this a very powerful, low waste stereo system

How do you get the sound system to not cut off when the truck is at a light? My auto stop will sometimes turn my system off.

3 ways. Use amplifiers that are stop/start compatible. Buy the Metra piece that bypasses it. Or the least favorite option is use Forscan to turn it off via the databus

@@dakid1231 what's your year make and model? The Metra piece works awesome and remembers the settings so if you want it turned off it keeps it off until you hit the button. It's a fantastic piece

Need to find a different remote turn on source. We use DC Offset which is built into many amplifiers and this resolves this issue. If your amplifiers do not have this, you can use a PAC Audio TR4 plus a relay and it will fix the issue

Unfortunately, not every city/state has a great stereo shop. We specialize in these trucks, so we can deliver a higher level of performance than a shop that specializes in every type of vehicle. Just like if I want amazing BBQ, I will book a flight to Texas :) Tennessee has good BBQ, enough to make you happy, but when you want to push the envelope of what's possible, sometimes local is not always the best route.
