I just bought a 2020 raptor and came across this video because i was looking at upgrading the stereo. I wish I lived in Nashville and could bring my truck to you guys.
We can handle the shipping of the truck to our facility and back, it’s quite common. Another option is we are releasing plug and play packages for these trucks.. So installation is simple and it’s pretuned, so the performance is what you expect.
I had a shop add a sound system to my truck, the 2019 raptors have a feature where the speakers in the truck create a louder version of the engine exhaust to make you feel it sounds good, now that the sound system it’s added I can hear ir real Loud on idling specially when I’m on open throttle, it’s there a way to keep this from happening?
Hey guys.. Getting ready to do my 18 Raptor and noticed you ran the power wires along the frame. Where/how did u get them back into the truck in the back?
We have actually! We didn’t test the audio outputs on the one we installed which on a lot of the tablet radios is a weak point. But functionality, it was good.
What was the cost initially for this Ford truck? Looking to get mine done this way! That flat black they have as well, is really nice! Is it a custom paint job?
It has changed a little bit, but here is the link to this exact package. soundsgoodstereo.com/collections/2021-2023-ford-f-150-supercrew-with-b-o-unleashed-18-speaker-system-1/products/2015-ford-f-series-b-o-supercrew-screw-plug-play-focal-stereo-upgrade-packages?variant=42310881214676
We leave the center channel alone and it's hard to explain, but its not needed in the way we do our upgrades. When we use a sound processor, we are able to make the sound come from the center of the dash, without a center channel. While we could incorporate it, the added costs (speaker, amplifier channel, sound processor channel, etc) would not be worth the benefit.
@@SoundsGoodStereo 2018 raptor. I modified the center location for a 2.5 mid and 1in tweet. Solely for a 2 seat tune. Proper center image with a 3 way you can't really tell when the center is turned on. A smidge with the slight db increase. But in the 2 seat tune it does help.
Eod Vet Exactly, the issue we face is the ability to “upmix” properly through the DSP. We do not want the center to play everything left+right as that will kill the width of the sound stage.
Thanks for the videos guys, I have learned so much from here for my 2019 f250. I can't financially go as wild as you guys did, and I plan on doing the install myself (I live in Fl so really have no choice). But plan on buying some parts from you guys such as the ZEN-A2B, amp board, block off plates, and possibly the sub. Besides the ultra-high end stuff here, do you guys have any parts lists for a less expensive setup? (amps, replacement door speakers, etc?) Would really like an experts opinion on some of the gear that would work here while providing maximum performance on somewhat of a budget. You don't have to answer here, just wondering if I bought some stuff above if you guys could point me in the right direction on other components.
Phew bro i was stressin i called lol man had me stressin its all good tho yall open this week? We locked down.scott that hat is the buisness you pull it for sure.
Yes, we built baffle plates in Part two that cover the holes. We recommend a rigid surface, not just sound treatment for large holes. Here are the baffles we make for the F-Series trucks: soundsgoodstereo.com/products/2017-2020-ford-f-series-custom-made-door-access-block-off-plates
2012 Ford Explorer with new factory Sync 3 system no premium amplifier. Looking to add a 5 channel dsp/amp in one package. I just need help getting some solid speaker adapters for front 6x9’s and rear door 6.5’s preferably in plastic. Will do 6.5 components up front and 6.5 coaxial in rear. Have two JL W3v3 in trunk area currently off a Audiocontrol ACM-2.300 but the factory speakers need upgrading asap will do door treatment all around.
@@SoundsGoodStereo First off thanks for the help and the replies, just keep in mind i'm not a millionaire. I love watching your high end builds but I definitely have a tight budget. haha thanks again and keep up the great work.
