i agree only now have i come to watch the procession ,growing up the queen was the queen never thought of the day she would pass , guess we can all block things out .i really didn't think it would affect me but it has, sad to see her passing, but her send off was second to none the nation, armed forces have done her proud, it makes me proud to be British and proud of all our armed forces.
I found this more bittersweet than specifically sad. She was very old and I knew she wouldn't be around forever, but a life well lived, and she was the same generation as my grandparents who she outlived by a couple of years, so it got me thinking about them - and she sent us a letter of condolence after which I'll never forget. And the last head of state who served in WW2.
Still watching this time Oct.2023 the unforgettable parade from HMTQ the last for more than 70yrs..she serve her beloved GB and people of the commonwealth countries.. RIP QE2😢
I don't know why even after 8 months I still feel emotional watching this. And I'm not even British! The British people should know how Queen Elizabeth II impacted the world.
It’s been almost one year since me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE did our procession from home with almost 8 million mourners gathered at my house to watch all 5 of us live. I’ll never forget this day for a long time
the Moment at 34:01 when they passed the statues of His Late Majesty King George VI and Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, its almost as if they are saying "Well Done Lillibet" your duty is done, we are waiting for you"
We British are the only country on earth that can produce perfection with the pageantry on sad events like our queens funeral etc The Scot’s with bagpipes make it unforgettable
Me thinks its because Buckingham Palace instructed the broadcasters that they can only keep 10 minutes of footage from the entire event. So the broadcasters had to take everything down for editing Its an anachronistic rule
Every part of this procession, was remarkable. Pageantry at it's finest, planned down to the last detail. I don't expect to see anything of this stature again in my lifetime. RIP Your majesty, you led a life of devoted service and represented a set of traditions and values that many still value. The risks of moving the Imperial State Crown around the streets of London? I'm sure it was quite safe, protected by the Grenadier, Coldstream, Blues and Royals, Life Guards, Household Cavalry, the Canadian Mounted Police, not to forget the Scots, Welsh and Irish Guards, Royal Navy, Air Force, Marines, Archers and others.
what i didint like some people booing as her coffin was passing six hours from balmoral through dundee and then through another town baliter then on wards to to windsor castle and may she and prince philip rest in peace along side princess margaret amen to you from richard
This poem is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II may she rest in peace Queenie I love the Queen she was never horrible I never mean, she was a wonderful head of state, with all the worlds problems on her plate, like politicians destroying her country, upholding traditions and all their superstitions, she was assiduous to her duties, carried out with grace and beauty, she Devoted her life to the service of this country, a dutiful wife, bringing life, bearing the sorrows of her nation, Regal and sovereign A Jewel in the Crown Of gods beautiful creation, Love Litany ✨👑🙏🇬🇧👜✨
And to think that 70 years ago someone from 1953 that marched along/for King George's funeral are in their 90's to 100's and still alive today; may have watched this. Then there are children that watched the funeral march back in 1953 that are in their 70's and 80's now and remember that and likely witnessed two funeral marches for the King and Queen.
@@staying_spooky It is not fake, they had Mic's at those locations and just fed into the sound live. It was all done on timing at one minute intervals. They also just broadcast the beat and music by the one Band which was the Coldstream & Scots Guards Band just in front of the Gun Carriage, this was so that there was no mix of beat and music from the other bands on the procession
@@CDB8939 no matter how it’s defended. It’s all for show. It’s all for tv. They clearly faked the audio and the bell when it clearly couldn’t be heard in real life. It’s all a show. Everything you listed is an excuse! Show the funeral live with no production. They can’t do it.
I’m not a royalist but I found this quite moving, she can’t help being born into it, and she stuck to it in a good way, this whole occasion was sad and also impressive
They are the British Army Intelligence Corps, not the Royal Marines, the Royal Marines are in the Blues No 1s, with white Pith helmets street lining in Parliament Square at the start.
If you are close to the queen, every milestone the queen reaches people get a medal for being involved in some way, for instance the queens diamond and platinum jubilees, they get a medal for being part of that, Aldo the queen can confer awards on anyone she likes and sometimes this may involve getting a medal.
Christ, all those people with their phones out filming someone's hearse. No shame, whatsoever. I'd be sick of it, constantly having phones shoved in your face when meeting the public and yet even in death the Queen couldn't escape it.
@@CDB8939 The Earl of Sussex title hasn’t existed since the 16th Century. The rest of them weren’t stripped of titles through disgrace; their parents consciously chose them to be non-working Royals, unlike the humiliated Paedophile.
No, he has stepped down from royal duties ( like Hazmat) which means in royal terms he can no longer wear his military uniforms,( just like HAzmat CANT wear his)
@@CDB8939 Prince Andrew the DUKE of Sussex, Peter Phillps and and the Earl OF Snowden all wore MORNING SUITS or DRESS not Mourning its formal daytime dress code, and there are many different styles
It’s now 2 years since the funeral, little did i know then that I would become ill in 5 months after the Queen died. My illness really showed how much grief can affect your health but I survived 9 years after my great grandmother died.
R.I.P Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the II. 70 Years Regin on The Throne of The UK and The Commonwealth 1952-2022. Elizabeth 1926-2022. Final resting place at Windsor Castle, down in the Valut of St George's Chapel.
Born in Germany by a British Mum, I got my British Passport2012 in Düsseldorf, cause I wanted to say: MY QUEEN....as child I always watched Trooping the Colour...looking up to the GREAT QUEEN...and being proud to have 25% British blood...Harry and Randy Andy both went to War for Britain and the dont wear Uniform...and that Wessex who quit the Army cause he isnt Man enough, rather playing Theatre, wears Uniform...that makes me angry
Last year on the 31st of August, my parents and I went to The City of London to visit Apsley House Museum, for my 32 Birthday. This year we'll be visiting Wellington Arch & the Guards Museum at Wellington Barracks.
It is completely disgusting and vulgar how spectators along The Mall are clapping their hands in applause. The state funeral was not a celebration. It was a solemn state occasion that requires mourning, stoicism and dignity.
@@ynys_mon6928 appreciation for Her Majesty should not involve clapping hands and applause. Appreciation should be in the form of complete silence, bowing the head from the neck for men, and curtsying for women. A state funeral, for the sovereign especially, should not be treated as if it is a party for people to behave like clowns.
