The reason it is INCREDIBLY packed and not just super-packed is because Artosis is leaving, guys. I myself am coming to Korea to catch the finals and see you guys. Spontaneous trip because someone, not gonna name names here, has decided to move to Canada and we are all grieving the end of an era
You're so full of shit but whatever, GSL and Starcraft has been around for a long time not and absolutely not because of him, it's the players, and tournaments and titles!!
@@dbufi yeah, he always loses to the top Korean players, but that person made it as if it WAS ALL Artosis, and it's DEFINITELY NOT HIM, it's because FANS of Starcraft just wants to be there and root for their favorite players!!!
At the handshake at the end there I thought for a moment we were gonna see that little neck massage turn into someone getting strangled on live television
The reason Maru was having so much trouble with Hero was because Hero always rush blink stalker against him in the last GSL finals, which disrupt Maru's build. This time Maru focus more on defending the rush and get ahead. Really show that GSL is the tournament of adaptation and preparation. That's why Western players like Reynor and Astrea will need a few more months to adapt with this style, unlike their previous tournament where they have to play 10 opponents in 1 weekend, the preparation is more important because you play 1 guy every 3 days.
Yeah, I have said it time and time before, Maru played so terribly behind in early game when he send the Medivac and 3-4 widow mines over, get shot down by Blink Stalker and had no unit to defends against the early Stalker fine. This time he just screw that weak plan, went for early racks and CC production and just turtle until he completely smashed the attack, or until he has better upgrade/tech. That really serve him well this time around.
@@tigera6 Yeah I would always get so frustrated whenever maru did those dumb mine drops.. obv if it works its an amazing return but heros too good to fall for them and its too predictable
Game 2 on data-C, Maru was 100% not surprised to see the Stargate.. He knew it was there cos he sent a marine scout right past it at 5:30, That's why he made a beeline for it. 👌🏼
i really just love Maru so much he just works the T race hard and his micro is just untouchable. he shows that if your fast a marine will own it all :)
Maru is the guy that play Terran race to its full potential, not just because of his micro/macro, but also because of his turtling style which serve Terran the best with long range units and sensor tower.
Guys, are there two "her0"s in the pro scene? This one is skinny and plays SC2, and there's one who is big-boned and plays SC Remastered... am I correct or...?
That's Maru for you. Completely professional to the very end. He doesn't let emotions get in the way of the following games in a series he plays. At least from what I've observed over the year.
I like how the casters said He0 was SO far ahead in game 4 when Maru had like 10 marauders and 20 marines with 6 medivacs a few mines and 2 tanks. Like ok... Maru literally SHREADDED Her0 in the first real enganement. He was ahead in supply, mineral income, barely behind on gas and down 2 workers. Lol
@@qifaoreza02 Yeah, his build was pretty bad, especially against someone who tends to go aggresive in the early game. This builds maybe works against very greedy play but we all know it's not Hero's style. Maybe he just wanted to finish with a quick 3-0, maybe he wanted the prediction to be right and for his friend to get one game so he doesn't look bad lol
Maru is finally growing up a bit and out of his awkward shell. Enough to look at and speak to Gyuri in a normal manner without dropping all of his spaghetti. Only took 10 years. :)
