2022 Harley Street Glide CVO Gets Some New Revo A Shocks. A quick install and setup of these Revo A Shocks on a new 2022 Harley Davidson Street Glide CVO.
I installed Legend Revo A's a month or two ago. Absolute game changer for the ride. 21 Road Glide. Looking to do the Legend Axeo up front some time soon.
You already confessed to being a seat collector. If you decide to become a shock collector as well, check out the Russ Wernimont Designs RS-1 shocks. They’re not too expensive and they have piggyback reservoirs. I have the 14” size. Some people stay with the 13” length shocks in case of any clearance issues with full length mufflers. For my next front suspension rebuild, I might look at GP cartridge inserts.
I was actually going to put the GP cartridges in my Road Glide if I were to go with the Krauss setup. It's a definite possibility for the front on this CVO. Those RS-1's look nice but I'm not dropping another grand just to review them lol.
I’m having the same issue. I’m really interested in the pro action, but like you said, there’s nothing out there as far as reviews. It’s either going to them or Wilber’s.
In my Daytona 2022 video there is a segment in there on pro action where he goes into detail about their shocks. It does sound good but I’ll wait for the reviews by riders instead of the company itself.
I must have missed this one..LOL...I watched your bag guard video and saw you had Legends on there!! LOLZ I thought you werent gonna spend a lotta dough on this one.....PFFT!!! SURE YOURNOT!!! LOLZ So I have Ohlins 159's on my 2015 SG...pretty much as what you got here with the Legends.....I did Ohlins HD044's on my 2021 RG which is the piggybacks....to be able to tell the difference is a total crapshoot....I couldnt tell you....its not a superbike on a racetrack, its a 900 lb bike on the street.....the reservoirs sure look pretty though. As far as which to choose, if I am honest, I dont care what you put on it...ANYTHING is better than stock!!! I put Ohlins on because thats what I had on every sportbike I ever owned. Thats what the racers use, so I assume its one of the best....and pricewise they are ALL pretty much in the same ballpark. I am sure you are happy you did it Ron! (btw, its pronounced Oh-LEEEEN) LOLZ
Had to have my Legends rebuilt again at 22k in the meantime put the Harley Ohilins piggy backs on might have 300 miles on them seem fine so far. Putting the legends on another Street glide I have.
@@RealRonTV wise decision I didn’t and cost me $1450 as I didn’t want to tie up the bike any longer it’s been in and out of service more than I’ve had it.
So how do they ride? How do they compare to the Dirty Air ride you had on the RGS? I have Dirty Air on my 17! 1 up it feels like stock almost. 2 up the air ride is so much better for me just cause I’m a fat ass so my wife has a way more comfortable ride.
I love your videos always insightfully from a view of a rider and always honest. If something is crap you call it crap. Which I love. Keep the vids coming man.
Just curious as to why you went with Legends instead of Ohlins. Don’t have any experience with either of them that is why I am asking. The Legend shocks do look nice though. Another great video but the beer (if you want to call it that) not so much. 😂😂😂
I did a shitload of research like I usually do on any new product for my bike. It came down to the Revo A, Ohlins and Pro-Action. Pro-Action has no videos done by riders and they only have videos and research done by their own people. I believe I chose the Revo A for the adjustability and rebound adjustment as well as the overall reviews over the Ohlins. It was a toss-up though.
LMAO the disappointment with the beer. Once years ago I ended up with a Goblin non filtered chocolate wheat beer. Awful. Hob Goblin. Nob Goblin. Something like that. Horrible. Great looking shocks though.
