Guys. Love these vids! You helped me choose the regular 13” Revo’s for my SG. Love them. This vid verified I put them on right! Sad because I liked the front but your rears shows me how bad they are. So the front will be going in for Christmas if Santa is good to me. Anyway I would love to see more selection with the merch. Some ba hats and such.

Good explanation and direction on setting up the shocks. I've been looking at lowering my '06 Ultra (short rider) but don't want to change the pitch from front to rear. Maybe you can do content on lowering suspension front and rear and what might be a good combination of front inserts and rear shocks. I've only really seen content for front or rear.

Installed mine today on my 1998 Road Glide and love them! HUGE difference... Funny how the fitment was for 1999-2023. If I were you guys I'd try to nail down a better fitment guide as you're losing out on a lot of potential customers. Luckily for me I knew they'd fit because my swingarm came off of a 1999. There is no difference with the exception of some tab for the caliper.

I wish somebody would invent a tool so a single person can do this easily. Something that you mount on the top bolt and when you sit it pushes up an arrow to show you how much sag and you can adjust and retest
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Hey Chris- For your suspension sag, what we would recommend is stopping by a shop and having your suspension sag adjusted for the different configurations you need, like solo, solo with gear, passenger or passenger with gear. You can make a marking on the shock threads with a paint marker so it doesn't wash off, but this can be used as a reference guide for exactly where you need to adjust those spring to without having to measure. We also recommend setting sag and then measure the number of exposed threads on the bottom of the shock for each application or the distance those exposed threads are, once you set sag and get the measurement you know that's where the shocks need to be, just documented it on a small piece of paper and keep it in your saddlebag. You can then solo adjust till you hit those measured numbers and will not need anyone else to help make adjustments. For instance, if you sit on the bike and your suspension sag is set perfect, you measure that you have 1" of threads showing, then set the suspension for 2-up and you have 1-1/2" of threads showing, it is easy to go between them for adjustments by twisting the spring and make sure you are at your correct exposed thread length. We hope this helps.

@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Steve C, Thanks for the questions. In most case you still can, but there may be variants of bags that make this more difficult. However, in most cases when adjusting the rebound you generally do not need to completely remove the bag, you can just unclip them and lean the bag on your leg to create space to reach down and make your quick adjustment. Finally someone explains it correctly and clearly!! Great job, you made it make sense to me now.. buying this exact suspension. Ima bigger guy 300lb occasionally riding 2 up… do you recommend heavy duty? On trips, I’m guessing I pack 100lbs of weight on the bike. But when I take long road trips, I’m solo not 2 up.. not sure if I really need HD or not..?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 5 месяцев назад
Hey there, Thanks for the comment. We are glad it is helpful. One thing important to note is if you chose standard or Heavy-Duty springs, we do offer spring swaps so you will never be stuck with something that does not work for you. There is kind of a middle ground you are in where you could really go either way. The standard really wouldn't be too soft for you and the HD spring really wouldn't be too firm. The HD spring will require less adjustment when you add that extra 100lbs for your trips. with the weight range you're in the HD spring would be very comfortable. We would say go this route. Set that suspension sag at to where you can sit on the bike in your riding gear and have someone measure your center bolt to center bolt and make that 12-1/4" so that when you add bags or a tour pack you are still within the 1" sag range, and you will be golden. If for some reason you wanted to down the road, you can always swap to the standard spring to try it. But we feel HD would be right for you, it will require less preload to hold you in the correct sag range and this gives a larger sweet spot for comfort. If you have any questions on this, please feel free to use our live chat on our website or email service@legendsuspensions.com We will be at Daytona Bike Week here later next week if you happen to be in FL, we can help you in person as well.

@mickeygaines007
@mickeygaines007 Год назад
If you have $2000 to spend and really want to lower the bike more on the fly, go with the high-end air ones. As far as which length, with shocks size does matter. If you are like me with a very short inseam and need to get lower, go with 12 inch. Otherwise stay with 13 or 14. With the 13 adjusted for sag, you will sit about the same height as stock on a touring bike and the extra travel will make for a better ride. The regular Revos are probably going to be fine for most riders in most cases but if you want to spend another $150 and be able to dial in the rebound also you can go with the Revo A. Just gives you a few more keys on the piano. Hope this helped a bit! Go with 13 or even 14 if you can plant and be comfortable and have the inseam for it!

@LegendSuspensions

Hello, For the most accurate setting of sag, we do recommend you both be on the bike with whatever gear you tend to ride with and in your normal riding gear. This will give an accurate weight to go off. From the normal 13" length you want the shocks to measure right about 12-1/4" to 12" with you both on the bike stated above. This will tell the suspension how much weight you added and to use all the travel and keep you from bottoming out. From there you simply select a rebound setting you like most (we recommend trying them all) and boom you're good to go. If you do not know where to start with rebound, we recommend starting with setting (3) on both shocks. Then go straight to (6) and then straight to (1) this will show you what is actually changing and will help you in selecting what ride you like best. IF you have ANY questions at all we recommend emailing service@legendsuspensions.com and our techs can help. We agree, 2Lane and the Ornery Crew are all Aces!

I had the legend suspension installed at my local HD dealership. I told them to set it up for a cross country trip for next June/July for two up riding and 50 pounds of gear putting the fully loaded bike near gross max vehicle weight. Riding it solo now with no gear and tour pack removed it rides like a truck! Every bump is felt. I know I can’t adjust the front without taking them apart (I wish there was a way) will adjusting just the rear suspension as you describe in this video make the ride softer for just me without compromising the overall handling of the bike?

@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 11 месяцев назад
With the 13" HD spring you will want to set your sag, no matter the weight on the bike at no more than 1" of suspension sag. This is what is telling the shocks your weight range, to use all the travel and keep you from bottoming out. When you take bags off to set the sag, you will sit on the bike with gear or passenger. We recommend setting the sag slightly less than 1" that way when you install your bags you are not pushing the shocks outside of the 1" of suspension sag. If you need any further help, please feel free to email service@legendsuspensions.com. Thank you.

Great video I just put a set of these Revo A’s on my 2019 Street glide. It helps a lot to understand adjustments. I do have one question though. In the instruction manual It says to torque hardware to 50 ft lbs. I’ve had people tell me to do Harley torque spec 63-70 ft lbs. which is best torque value for these shocks?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Месяц назад
Thank you for your business. Great question. Stock Spec is 63-70 however, that is with stock solid mounted shocks that have bushings. Our shocks use spherical bearings at the mount points, and we include a billet aluminum spacer, we call out 50lbft of torque because if you torque them too tight you will press the inner race of the metal bearing into the spacer and cause it to dish and this can lock the shocks in place which is bad, you want our shocks to still pivot on the bearings after you install them, so they can move freely and prevent suspension binds cause by rigid mounted shocks. If you have any additional questions about this, please feel free to email service@legendsuspensions.com and we would be more than happy to help.

I just put on the 13 inch heavy duty revo A on my 2021 SG. I love these shocks it between night and day! My only concern is why is it made upright instead of downright as we all know grit loves finding a new home sitting around the shaft seal. Do you all have shock outerwear or have you put any thoughts to help protect these fine gems? Not a sermon just a thought. Keep up with the excellent work! A friend highly recommended it to me and i have been telling my friends that i highly recommend them also! If you have outerwear I'll be gladly to purchase it to protect this expensive investment! Thank you and have a wonderful safe Thanksgiving!
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 8 месяцев назад
Hey Jeff, thank you for your business, we here at Legend Suspensions truly appreciate it! The shock is built the way it is due to the internal assembly, we do have shocks built in the "downright" position. It mainly depends on the internals. Our shocks are type 3 Hard anodized with hardened stainless shafts so they are quite durable, they have a lifetime warranty as well. We also coat the threads on the shocks and we recommend lubrication on the threads from time to time. We use WD-40 Specialist with PTFE as it does not attract dust like normal WD. Or use a silicone-based lubrication. Beyond that you should be solid. The seal you see on top of the damper body is a wiper seal and this cleans the shaft as the shaft goes in past the actual oil seal below it. Hope this answers your questions. Have a Great Thanksgiving Holiday!.

Installed both front and backs on my FLHTK 2019. Absolutely love them but I really wish Legend would come up with a set up tool so you could adjust the ride height alone with no assistance from someone. I often go from single rider to adding a passenger which means I need a third person to measure. On occasion, i tow a trailer and again, I need a third person to measure. Also, some sort of marking on the shock so I know my original 1 rider setting or my 2 rider setting. It’s easy to lose track of what it was at. Two weeks ago, did I leave it at single rider or not. That has to be my ONLY negative about this product. Just truly enjoy the comfort ride they offer…. If I adjusted them right… again.. good grief !
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Hey thanks for reaching out. We are glad to hear you are loving the shocks. In the video Chase talks about how we use the Legend logo that is on the coil to reference how many turns we make. We recommend starting with a 2 up measurement. Once you get to the correct sag, have the passenger get off and then count many turns it takes to get to the correct sag for solo riding. Knowing how many turns you make will make it easier in the future and avoid having to measure again. Thanks and enjoy the ride.
@harleyquebecenrevue3580
@harleyquebecenrevue3580 2 года назад
@@LegendSuspensions yes, and I understand that process but if you rode two up last week with proper setting, today you may not be sure if you last set it up for 2 or 1 riders on your last ride. My point is there is no markings on the shocks to remind me if it’s set for 1 rider or two riders. White markings on the shocks would be of great help. Easier to remember where they need to be set, mark 1 or mark 2. How about a lock ring on the threads so once in position I know that this is my 1 rider setting. Then I can turn up say 2 turns from there for a passenger or 3 turns with luggage. Also, I’m sure you guys can come up with a measurement tool when alone to adjust. Consider, If we’re two and about to go for a ride, how do I measure the shocks for 2 riders? I need a third person to measure. It’s a real hassle. Anyways, just a suggestion. I am having these put on a 2011 Ultra Limited. Great video/explanation. Correct if I am wrong. I set it up for me and get that dialed in. When I add the woman's 135lbs, I re-measure and increase or reduce the tension to obtain the 3 inch SAG with her now on the bike. If I determine I need to make 5 clockwise turns with her on bike to obtain the 3" SAG, I shouldn't have to re-measure with her not as a passenger, I would just need to turn 5 times counterclockwise to get back to my original solo setting and it will be accurate? Thanks.
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Hey Thomas, thanks for reaching out. When you are adding weight to the motorcycle, you will increase the tension on the suspension to get the 1 inch of sag. So you are correct if you turn It 5 times to get to that 1 inch of sag with another person on, you would just take those 5 turns back out when it is just you. If you have a 13 inch shock, the suspension should be 12 inches from eyelet to eyelet.

Hello, thank you for your business. We do recommend lubrication on the threads, we use WD-40 Specialist with PTFE in it. With the heavy duty vs standard, you should be fine with standard. If you are riding 2 up over half the time then we can swap the springs out to heavy duty. @LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Hey Brett thanks for reaching out. When you raise the bike it will had more ground clearance. One thing to consider in order to run a 14" REVO ARC on an FL Touring model, you will need a short exhaust slip-on that ends prior to the rear axle. If your exhaust extends past the rear axle, the axle nut will contact the exhaust with the 14" shock due to the longer shock length, and the resulting extension of the swingarm. When running a 14" REVO ARC on a FL Touring model, we recommend a +2" AXEO and fork tube be used on the front suspension in order to maintain a level chassis.

@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Hello Vinh, Thank you for the comment. On the 14 Street Glide we recommend the 12" shocks, if you are a lighter rider and need a lighter spring to get your sag range optimal, we recommend reaching out to Customer Service as we have an option for you. If needing to get lower than the 11-1/2" ride height the 12" shock provides, then we recommend AIR suspension because this will go way lower when you need it, while stopped, moving across a parking lot and so on. Our air shocks will compress to 10-1/4" when fully aired down and the bike will still roll. As for your question on lowering kits, we do not recommend the use of them with Legend shocks as the suspension sag will be much harder to set due to altering the suspension geometry, the shocks will suffer in ride quality due to the use of lowering blocks. It may also impact the lifetime warranty if an issue with the shocks stem from the use of the lowering blocks. Incorrectly set suspension sag can make the shocks too soft and prone to bottoming out, or too stiff and make the ride too hard, and the lowering blocks make setting this accurately much more difficult. It will also make your current spring rate operate differently. We hope this helps answer your question. If you need further details we offer a chat feature on our website with a live tech, or please email service@legendsuspensions.com Thank you.

Quick question If I have 12 inch should the sag be set at 11.5 inches with the weight of a passenger as well, so if both of us were seated on it I should I have 11.5 inches of sag.
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
@Krislombardi, Yes, that is exactly correct. The 11.5" should be taking into account with all riders, gear and so on. In most cases people will do this with the bags off the bike, so we recommend the measurement being slightly higher so when you install the bags you do not push the 12" suspension past it's max sag. essentially add another turn our two to account for when you put the bags back on the bike. Max sag is the max you want it to sag with riders and gear, if you set this without all the gear then it will sit lower once you do and this will leave you more prone to bottoming out. It is not like you have to get it down to the exact pound, Just being mindful of adding good amounts of weight and not telling the suspension you did that. We'd call 25lbs in a saddle bag or 50lbs between both bags a good amount of weight. If you need any further assistance, please check out our live chat feature on our website, it goes directly to our customer service techs, or email service@legendsuspensions.com. Thank you.

@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Sometimes the spring adjusters can be a little difficult to get turning the first time that one attempts to adjust the shocks. Here are a few recommendations to help you out, please try these, as this will usually cure the issue. 1) Apply a small amount of penetrating oil (WD-40, PB Blaster, etc.) to threads on the top and bottom side of the spring preload adjuster. 2) Jack the bike up until the rear tire is off the floor to relieve the weight of the bike on the rear shocks 3) If needed, use a filter strap wrench around to lower spring seat (preload adjuster) to get the adjuster freed up and moving. In many cases, it is just a matter of breaking the surface tension between the two components to get everything moving. Once freed up and moving, the adjustments can then be made by hand. After the adjustments are achieved, be sure to clean the oil residue from the penetrating oil from the shock(s) to ensure that it doesn't collect dirt and grime. This should help you out, please let me know if you have any additional questions.

@LegendSuspensions 11 месяцев назад
Hey there, you can set your suspension sag for a little less than 1" on a 13" shock or a little less than 1/2" on a 12" shock, that way when you put the bags on you are still good to go. 1" or 1/2" are the max sag and you can run less, you just want to ensure you do not have more than that max recommendation. Often when you take the bags off, like in your case where they have audio and added weight. If you add about 2 more turns to account for the bag weight, that should have you right in the wheelhouse. If you have any further questions on this, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Dept and they would be more than happy to help ensure you are dialed in.

Can you explain how you were able to properly set the sag without taking into account the weight of the two saddlebags and it's contents? That could be 30+ additional pounds of weight. Shouldn't you be weighing the two saddlebags, taking that weight and adding it to the rear seat before you set the sag?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 4 месяца назад
Great question. When setting the sag, it is best to set the sag, actually closer to the 3/4" sag range so when you add the saddlebags and gear, or Tour Pak that you are not outside the target sag range of 1" or a length of 12" with all weight. On a 13" shock with a 110 Standard spring, each 360-degree rotation of the spring will add or remove, for simple math, 20 pounds of spring tension. Adding 30 pounds of bags would essentially be one additional turn per shock, plus any turns needed to account for heavier gear, speaker lids and so on. This same method can also be used to account for a passenger weight if they are not present at the time of sag setting. That will get you in the very close ballpark, we do always recommend just doublechecking later on when possible. We hope this answers your questions, if you have any other questions, please feel free to email service@legendsuspensions.com and our techs would be happy to cover any further details. Thank you.

Guys, I'm a little unclear by the measurement figures stated in the video. When first measuring center bolt to center bolt with the rider sitting down, I heard "we have 12 1/4 inches." Next I heard that our target was 1" of sag with the 13" shock. "That with 12 3/4, we've got a little more loosening of the spring . . ." Then, I see 3 clockwise turns to adjust. Did you add 1/4" of adjustment with 3 clockwise turns, or did you make 3/4" of adjustment with 3 clockwise turns?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
On 13" shocks when you sit on the bike depending on the weight of the rider(s) you will get a certain center bolt to center bolt measurement. The measurement you are shooting for is 12" center to center while seated on the bike with the normal weight that you would expect to have on the bike. 1" of suspension sag refers to the shock being 13" from the starting length and 1" of sag makes it sit at 12" while seated. since you want the shocks to compress right about 1" from the original length, this includes the rider(s) gear and weight of the bike, everything combined should not be more than 1" For instance, if you were to sit on the bike and measure and get 11" anything, you know the spring is too loose and would need to be tightened to add spring tension and reduce the sag. It depends on what end of the shocks you are looking at but how Chase was standing in the video looking down at the top of the shocks a clockwise turn was removing spring tension to allow the shock to sag more since he did not reach the 12" point while the rider was seated. technically what looks like a counter-clockwise turn would be adding spring tension, if you look at the shock from the bottom upward you can see it is still righty tighty . Hope this answers your questions, if you need any further explanation, please feel free to reach out to our customer service depart via chat feature on legendsuspensions.com or email service@legendsuspensions.com
@KPBC0602
@KPBC0602 Год назад
Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm just not smart enough to grasp this. If a 13" shock compresses to 12 1/4" with the combined weight of the bike and rider, I'm reasoning that the combination of the bike and rider's weight reduced the spring length 3/4" (13 inches minus 3/4" = 12 1/4") based on what I heard in the video. Then, I heard Chase say that because our target for the 13" shock is 1" of sag, we know that with 12 3/4" we've got a little more loosening of the spring to do. First, where did 12 3/4" come from? I thought he concluded the center bolt to center bolt distance to be 12 1/4." Second, what is the distance measured? From the middle of the top bolt to the middle of the bottom bolt is how far apart? 12 1/4" or 12 3/4?" I'm not trying to be difficult. I just want to explain where my confusion lies. My thinking is that if we want 1" of sag for a 13" shock, we're trying to hit a 12" center bolt to center bolt mark fully loaded (bike + rider weight). Is that right? If the bike and rider weight compresses the 13" shock to 12 1/4," we would want to add 1/4" of sag to reduce the gap from 12 1/4" to 12" in my non-mechanical mind. At this point, I continue to be confused by Chase's 12 3/4" measurement. Which one is it? Returning to the original measurement of 12 1/4" bike+rider weight, Chase turns the shock 3 full 360 degree rotations so that the "Legend" name rotates from right to left while he's facing the shock. When he completed those 3 full 360 degree right to left rotations, did he reduce/increase the sag by 1/4" from 12 1/4" to 12" or did he reduce the sage in 3 full rotations from 12 3/4" to 12"? After reading all this, you may conclude that I'm hopelessly confused and beyond help. Perhaps. But, I just purchased a set of Revo-As that I hoped to install them myself. I'd be grateful to know if I'm on the right track, slightly off, or completely in another orbit.

@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 5 месяцев назад
Our Standard spring rate is 110 and the Heavy-Duty version is 130. Our standard spring will work great up to about 500lbs of added weight on the bike, but if you are adding 300, 400, 500 lbs. to the bike 50% of the time or more we often recommend the HD spring rate as it just tends to require less adjustment between solo and 2-up riding. and in those weight ranges you can rally go either way. but if you add a person or some extra gear the HD spring will have a further range instead of getting to the tipping point on the standard spring and needing it changed. If you have any additional questions, we do have a live chat feature on our website with techs, or please feel free to email service@legendsuspensions.com. Hey Floyd, Great questions. When setting sag we would say, while you are seated on the bike. Have the shock measurement from center bolt to center bolt be more like 12-1/4" on a 13" shock this will allow the bag weight to weigh it down more and still be right about that 12" mark. For the 12" shocks, it would be the same, while seated the shocks could measure 11-3/4" allowing the bags to compress the shocks another 1/4" or so being as the max sag of 11-1/2" while seated with bags. If adding a passenger then both of you and the bags should be at those ranges to avoid bottoming, which would just require you to add more turns. We would be more than happy to assist in more detail if needed, we offer a live chat feature on our website with a tech, or please email service@legendsuspensions.com Without knowing your shock length and spring rate, we recommend connecting with customer service for further details. Thank you.

I bought 12in revo shocks for road glide. I've noticed stiff shocks not necessarily a smooth ride. I weight 170lbs and I have a tuff time getting 1/5 in sag. I barely get those shocks to sag I'm close to the 1/5 sag. I have one thread leftshowing on the shocks

Three different posters pointed out the discrepancy in your stating the pre adjustment height of the shocks - 12 and 1/4 vs 12 and 3/4 but you haven't addressed it. Please do so as it definitely affects understanding what you did. It is clearly an error that should be corrected in your video.

From the original 13" shock length, rider sat on the bike and compressed the shocks 1/2" so the overall length became 12-1/4" from the starting 12-3/4" (due to weight on the bike) we increased the amount of sag 1/4" for a total of 1" making the overall rider/static sag 1" If the measurement was 12-1/4" it would need 1/4" more sag in addition to the 3/4" we already have to make the overall 1". If the overall length is 13" and the weight of the bike compressed the shocks 1/4" this is where 12-3/4" comes into play, you have to take the static sag (weight of the bike compressing the shocks) into account in your sag measuring or you will end up with too much sag. Hope this answers your questions, if you need any further explanation, please feel free to reach out to our customer service depart via chat feature on legendsuspensions.com or email service@legendsuspensions.com

Sorry for the delayed response, RU-vid is hiding comments on us. Glad this helped. And yes, you are correct. Bike weight is referred to at static sag, then rider(s) sag, plus gear.

Why would a person get the 13” vs the 14”
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Tom, Good question, we do have a video that talks about this. But in most cases something like the 14" shocks can be a bit of a special fitment, most of the time you need a shorter exhaust to fit 14" shocks, or some mild alterations. We also do not recommend the 14" shocks on bikes without a taller front end, this requires replacing fork tubes in most cases so it is quite a bit more complete upgrade where front and rear are being done at the same time. Where as something like a 13" shock fits a lot more exhausts, including factory, does not require changing the front tubes or front end. with 13" shocks they have the ability to to sit right about 12" so they can even fit stock street glides. The main things you gain with taller shocks is another 1/2" or travel. 13" have 3-1/2" where 14" have 4" of travel. An you gain some additional ground clearance. We hope this answers your questions.

Hi, what is the SAG?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 7 месяцев назад
Sag is referring to how much the suspension sags when you sit on the bike. from a 13" shock length, if you were to install it and sit down on the bike and measure from the center of the top shock bolt to the center of the bottom shock bolt and read 12" this would mean you have 1" of sag.

@@LegendSuspensions so, when I choose a shock, do I have to choose a long sag to get a comfort ride feeling?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 7 месяцев назад
Our 12" 13" or 14" will all be comfortable and far better performing than stock suspension by a long shot. If you have 12" shocks on your bike and like how it looks and do not wish to change the length, you will absolutely find more comfort in our 12" shocks over stock. When it comes to different lengths here is how it really shakes out. 12" shocks will have 2" of suspension travel. They get a max of 1/2" sag, this would have you sitting right in the 11-1/2" range while seated on the bike. 13" shocks will have 3" of suspension travel and will get a max of 1" of sag, this would mean you are sitting at 12" while seated on the bike. The overall difference is sitting at 11-1/2" with 2" of travel or sitting at 12" with 3" of travel, the main change there is 1/2" is height difference but you are gaining 1" of additional travel on the 13" Again, if you absolutely do not wish to alter height at all then 12" would be the choice, if you are fine with 1/2" difference then 13" would be a great choice because of the additional travel gain, most people would not notice 1/2" difference in appearance but would feel the 1" additional travel. The good thing is our shocks length can be changed, if you get 12" and decide you want 13", we can get them in for a conversion and that goes the same for the other direction as well. So, you will never be stuck with something that truly doesn't work for you.

@@LegendSuspensions Thanks a lot for your clear explanation. I'd like to buy the specific product among Revo, Revo A. 1) Revo has a funciton to adjust the preload(in Your homepage's pic for Revo doesn't show a function of adjustment) 2) Revo can be used with rear shock lowering block like Advandblack because 12" for me would be uncomfortable footing ground firmly so I'd like to use a lowering block. 3) Can I just get a more comfort and performance rather than stock shock with Revo even if I don't choose a Revo ARC among the coil suspecsion 'cause of price.
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 7 месяцев назад
There are 3 Revo options. 1) Revo will have preload adjustment (turning the coil) 2) Revo-A will have preload adjustment and 6 position rebound adjustment. 3) Revo-ARC will have preload adjustment, Rebound adjustment and compression adjustment. We have videos on all of those shocks as well as comparison videos. You can absolutely get comfort and performance out of any of them, and they will all perform beyond your expectations. If you are concerned with height, we recommend getting a 12" instead of 13", the 12" will sit at 11-1/2" while seated and this will be the lowest sitting coil shock we offer, we do not recommend the use of lowering blocks with our suspension as this will alter geometry and make them harder to adjust correctly as well. If you desire a shock lower than 11-1/2" then we recommend you take a look at our AIR suspension as this will allow you to have ride height when needed, on the fly height adjustment, and the shocks will compress to 10-1/4" when aired all the way down.

Ya don't need 1" sag on a 13" shock if you ride 2 up all the time. Because the rider is 160 extra pounds on the back.

Hey Ray, thanks for reaching out. We recommend setting the sag for 2 up riding. This allows the shock to work properly with the amount of weight that is on the bike. Our 13" shocks are designed to be ridden with 1" of sag.
