They are nice bikes . Liquid cooled right? Kawasaki/Yamaha & KTM are best out there overall I feel.

@@Davido50 They're pretty much the Kawasaki equivalent to the CRF300L, but it has better suspension.

We have built an ATC500R out of this chassis in a previous video. If you are looking for OEm frame it will be cut/weld/fixture scenario vs bolt in.

we sold the 450 motor / electrical out of this bike for 5k.. brand new never ran.. so when you buy these bikes for 10k - you can end up with a 5k chassis and then throw a CR motor into it for 3k + our install kit - 1,400 - you end up cheaper than a new bike.

The 2t 250 is 226lbs with fuel & everything ready to ride. The 250 4t weight is a bone dry bike. So the 2t is a lighter engine.

@@keithpeterson6108 nah sorry mate the weight of a new crf250r is 229lbs wet. So that means full of fuel, oil, etc. It also has e-start aswell which these guys '22 250t doesnt which is a minimum of 5 pounds if not more. So that means the actual 250F motor itself is significantly lighter than the 250T motor

@@tcmx712 You gotta take into consideration the estart doesn't carry the Kickstart mechanisms. So apples to apples, the 2t is still lighter. Some of the 3 pounds is from the fuel pump & whatnot as well so the engine could be lighter. Bit if you're getting those numbers from MXA, I wouldn't bet the farm on those numbers. They're so full of crap on so many levels. The 2t has the power advantage but the 4t has the power delivery/traction advantage. The 2t has the life advantage vs a 4t 250 & will still be a good engine decades later. The 250 4t will be out on the rock pile on the back of the property.

@@keithpeterson6108 it's a well known fact that e-start adds between 5-10lbs to a bike and the kick start mechanism weighs 1.5lbs. MXA weighs their bikes without fuel so no I didn't use their weight as they have it as 219lbs. And lastly what was the point of that last paragraph, is it because you've realised your first comment could be wrong so you feel like you have to teach me something to still feel good about yourself??? Ive been riding dirtbikes for almost 25yrs now and I didn't get a 4t until 2015 so I know what the differences between a 4t and 2t is as do most people
