I am the original owner of a 1998 CR500R with Honda card #**0103 and will never sell it! I still ride this beast. In 1999 I survived the M.S. Soboba Invitational in one of wettest years I can remember! Its still in its original Bars, plastics, decals, tank, number plates and wheels, seat and cover except for its air filter, sprockets and chain, exhaust and reed cage from FMF added two weeks after bike purchase. The head has never been off nor cases split! Just services and ride. Some day I'll do a ground up...... That CR500AF in this segment is a dream ride that will give me heart palpitations just looking at it!
Super cool to see a CR500 setup this way shows how versatile they are, the polishing on the motor and frame is off the charts look forward to a top speed drag test!

@@spooge33 As fast as they move GasGas dirtbikes out the door selling them, you never know for sure. If they're meeting GasGas expectations of sales, and then some, it may change the way GasGas looks at them, because they're putting endless and consistent money in their pockets, selling alot more GasGas Dirtbikes, then most dealerships could ever sell. If I owned a huge dealership, where every allotment of bikes, was sold and sold quickly, I wouldn't care what they did.....because they would putting big and consistent money in my pockets. As long as it didn't hurt the GasGas Name, Sales, or Reputation, that would be their private person business. Whatever floats their boat. They give the people exactly what they want, and then some, going out of their way, above and beyond to make their customers happy, and coming back..Word of Mouth spreads quickly between. dirtbike riding enthusiasts, and reputation, honesty, and customer service skills are everything. They treat their customers how they would want to be treated, if they were a customer. That goes a longa ways, with potential customers, and current customers.
That would be awesome. More exposure. More customers to be made happy. Customers will always be loyal and keep coming back, just keep them happy, and they play 100% honest and fair with their customers. They did with me, both times around. This channel, is one of the best things that happened to me in years, making quality of life, so much better.
We (service honda/built500) were with the subwaymx/service honda sx and national race tesm.back.in 2004-2005 for several years, we had a CR500AF in the team semi,and displayed in the pits . ;)

Mick Doohan (5-time 500cc World Champion) built himself a road-registered CR500 back in the day. I came across it at a bike shop in Brisbane (Queensland, Australia), which was just up the road from his hometown on the Gold Coast.
Very interested in the lighting. Wanting to do an OEM looking setup for my 2004 CR500 aluminum frame conversion. (I've got the ultra rare E-line 180w external stator like the CRE500s had in Australia 🇦🇺) but maybe by now technology has moved past that. I need help sourcing a modern solution to make my 500 street legal.
My dream is just to find a 500 engine so I can slowly make it my own personal baby. It’s literally next to impossible to find anything here where I am in Ontario. Just taking a trip to the museum to see all the bikes would be a trip of a lifetime. But, that requires Ontario to pay our workers fairly too have the money to do so… let’s see how the year ends up and maybe next year I’ll get the pleasure of seeing where all the magic happens at Kaplan Cycles and the motorcycle museum 🙏
😍😍😍I would happily blast around the roads on that all day long,but would definitely get the crf graphics off mind.Maybe chrome dip a set of plastics with black graphics or black plastics with chrome graphics I bet that would look awesome.The down side to owning that bike would be I would look stupid wearing a bib because I would be drooling all the time🤤
Anyone know if the CR600 with counterbalancing, exhaust valves, electric start from Panther motorsports is any good? Would make for an awesone supermotard setup if it runs good.
give me a name and there gone🤣🤣🤣🤣 man what id do for tht bike!!! so beautiful id literally set up an air mattress for my olady on the floor wile i cuddle the bike on the bed. lmfaooo u guys killed it then to give it super moto kit so it stays clean “HOPEFULLY”… lol mistake including the mx set up but hey if it was mine it would spend time on road, sm23, mx23, southwick, 508int, crow hill, pitcherville sand pits in hubbardston, and good old barre massachusetts were i ran from cops 100s of times on bikes but got so many bikes in and out they never know who it is but with a plate i can legally ride to all my spots!!!! the cr500af sm/sx is the ultimate dream man i think id rather that bike than a house at this point!!!!! NAILED IT!!!!!!!!
