Nice review. I love my ‘21 Rubicon Deluxe. I was torn between the Honda and a Can Am Outlander North Edition. I definitely made the right decision. The DCT has been awesome.

I have been going back and forth between this machine and the Yahama Kodiak 700 EPS SE. I do like that the Kodiak comes with a winch. The Rubican Deluxe has both auto and manual (that is pretty sweet). Nick, and any RU-vidrs out there, which one would you go with?
@BrickNick931
@BrickNick931 2 года назад
Well I would pick the Yamaha over the Honda for speed in a straight line, but going through narrow trails and general towing I would pick the Honda. They both have their strengths I’m a Honda guy at heart but that Kodiak 700 power is something I can’t get over… now it’s way more power than I would ever use so I’d say the Honda is more practical. I know I’m not giving a one sided answer right away but for me it’s a tough choice for the money your getting more machine with the Yamaha the nicer dash. But the issue with Yamaha right now is you can’t get them they are months out vs Honda they are delivering right now units with more on the way all of a sudden. I made a video on the Kodak 700 SE I hope you watched that and if not definitely check it out might help you.

@@BrickNick931 Thank you for the quick reply, Nick! I really enjoy hunting and working. The Honda might be the go-to machine for me. The closest Yahama in stock for me at the moment is in Marion, IL. That's a good 4 1/2 hour drive from me, but that is okay if I decide to go with that particular one. Good to hear Honda is making deliveries. The Foreman Rebicon Deluxe are equipped with power steering, correct?
@BrickNick931
@BrickNick931 2 года назад
Yes! They have the works the deluxe is well done, power steering, full auto or push button shift, diff lock, has a low range. If you plan on hunting go Honda! Wasn’t sure if you were trying to go 70 accross a field or just work it and move along

I just reserved a 2023 deluxe same color and everything, I was seriously considering the Suzuki kingquad 750axi but for farm use the Honda just takes the edge. If I was serious about racing or trails I would have gone with the Kingquad though. Suzuki and Honda make the best 4 wheelers in my opinion.

Great video! Thanks for posting. "it's hard to kill a Honda". I grew up on TRX 250x's back in the 90's and fell in love with Honda reliability. Now I'm looking for an ATV that will be suited for mostly work on the farm, dragging a trailer, and some trail cruising. I don't need an insane off-road speed demon just looking for a general workhorse that is reliable and has some features. It's odd to me that Honda has their 'highest spec' utility ATV - the Rincon, that has less features than the other utility ATV's. Perhaps I'm missing something, but the Rincon doesn't even have a place for a ball/hitch or diff locks... seems the Foreman Rubicon has more features. How much can these Rubicons tow? for reference: Polaris says their sportsman 570 can drag 1350lbs. Right now, my choice is between this, in manual with EPS and the Polaris SPORTSMAN 570 EPS... What am I missing?
@BrickNick931
@BrickNick931 Год назад
Don't pay attention and avoid the Rincon... Is the best advice I can tell you. It hasn't changed in over 15 years. The Rubicon is the one you want all up to date tech and features, high low range, PS. the great thing about the Hondas is they have a real transmission so towing and pushing is all gear on gear power that a belt drive system can't beat. I don't know the tow rating but I'm guessing Honda has it listed on the website. I haven't heard anyone tell me their Honda couldn't pull anything yet so I'll leave you with that. it will outpull that Polaris I'm sure of it.

I have a 2015 sportsman 570 eps. It can pull great it has low range and 44hp.
@freidrichnietzsche6643
@freidrichnietzsche6643 Месяц назад
@@blkwng81 I bet the fuel mileage you get with the 570 isn't too bad either?! I'm also thinking of a base model Sportsman XP850 to get more power but know they're gas hogs compared to the smaller units.
@blkwng81
@blkwng81 Месяц назад
@freidrichnietzsche6643 the fuel mileage is great with the 570. I bought a can am outlander 850 xt max. I wanted to try the big 850 motor. Big mistake. The can am broke down 13 miles from the trail head. I wish I would have bought an 850 polaris

Great video enjoyed watching an so informative. My 2015 rancher has been an amazing machine. But I want the locking diff low range which my rancher don't have. I'm finding it hard to get a Rubicon cuz they seem to be in short supply. The dealer said he would call when he got 1 in so I'm just waiting.

I have never owned a Honda ATV, but i have owned several other Honda products that were unreliable, and hard to start. What I do not understand about Honda and all the foreign manufacturers is there lack of interest in developing their brands. I prefer a 2 up machine and Honda does not offer this. Also ground clearance is a big issue for me and Honda is the lowest in the industry. Also their rack weight limits are the lowest in the industry. Also having a 2 inch receiver in the back to quickly change out different attachments is pretty important to me on an ATV. The only thing I like about the Honda is the direct drive system. ATV’s are very purpose built, so I guess you really have to know what your intended use will be. In my opinion, Can Am has the most impressive ATV lineup on the market today, their products are well built and they have really developed their accessory options for all their bikes. I owned a Suzuki for over 20 years, great bike and completely reliable. Thanks for your review and enjoy your machine.
