I own a 2022 hr v lx . After almost 2 years it has been a very reliable and satisfying vehicle without a single problem. The mpg has been 29 to 31 in city driving and 34 to 38 highway driving ( the variation is due to winter weather and winter gasoline formula). It is a basic , competent car with good carrying capacity, manners, and comfort. It is not a speed demon or a luxury vehicle and It is devoid of computerized driving aids.....which is exactly what I prefer. It has a time tested , port injected engine with no gdi and no turbo charger ....which is also what I prefer. I expect to own it for at least 10 years and it should be able to last for 200,000 miles.....just like a long term Corolla or Civic !!
super good price especially in today's market but it really sucks there's no android auto/apple integration for the LX base model even though it seems pretty standard nowadays for SUVs
I would also like to add that the backseats recline one position back, and the bottom of the backseats fold up so you can fit a TV or a bike in the back 🙂
Nice, well done review. I think the lighter weight of the LX FWD platform provides a bit better acceleration to the vehicle. Honda should be promoting the fact this vehicles' engine has Multipoint F.I. for obvious reasons.
@@deathbyvanity1955 I live way up Northern California. 2 hours north of Sacramento. Not sure if the low price was due to the low demand of that kind of vehicle or the lower cost of living. 80 percent of the vehicles around me are trucks.
Too many buts. I like Honda. As far as the HRV Model, Honda needs to sport this model up and change out the exterior design. The interior is nice, simple., and practical. Space is good on this model. The ride is nice, however needs more power. MSRP is too high. Base should sit at 19,000, the fully loaded model. Should sit at an MSRP of 27000.
