2022 Honda Odyssey EXL Review

This is the first review of this car I've been able to watch all the way through. Great job on this one.

I have a 2006 Odyssey and are planning to buy a 2022. A lot of similar options that have been carried over. Thanks for the detailed rundown on how to get the most out of the 2022. You were able to cram a lot of information into a brief time and made it informative. I have been looking at different vehicles but there is nothing out there to beat the Odyssey's versatility. Now I'll have to take a course on the built in computer which got its start in my 2006.

Just got a CPO ‘22 EX-L. Have two ‘23 RDX’s and have had Pilots, a Highlander and a Palisade. Took decades to own a minivan but was worth the wait. This is a competent hauler. Great investment!

I like how you go in detail with the differences in the trims, most reviewers dont bother with that.

Excellent review my friend! As a grandpa of 7 grandkids I have been torn between a Pilot and a Odyssey. As you presented I believe this would be enjoyable for our lifestyle. Looking forward to my test drive.

We just got the exl last week in lunar silver for my family we were about to get the sienna xle but their are a lot of stuff we didn't like about it.I dont really care about the facelift and hybrid toyota offered it is missing something that honda odyssey have people say its old design but really haven't been inside and drove one. In my opinion it is still nice looking van. You gotta love that V6 too in sport mode lol.

I’m buying a white EXL or Sport tomorrow depending on the deal. I’ve owned 5 pilots/odyssey’s before this but I still looked for reviews anyway. This is the best review I’ve ever seen other than that Doug dude who talks about the quirks.

Nice video, if you can compare the cars in your text and rank them it would be easier to see who ranks where. Maybe color code the Honda Blue? 2nd Row, my 2009 seats are pretty much the same, I see that slider that seems to stick there after seats removed. Does it go completely flat? If not this is not good for carry or making a temp bed! Wish you had a photo of all seats out and down.Hope Honda fixed the 10 speed issues like going to park when driving and interior camera issues. Good video!

It's stupid they did not put rear seat sunshades and USBs. Not sure how that is two trims over worthy. Apparently you can only get those extras with a Touring.

that, tru I started with 2001 then 2007, then 2011, then 2018 and now I have a 2022 and I love it odysseys an am waiting for the 2025

We just put a deposit down for EXL. I know it will meet our needs in functionality and space with soon to be 3 kids under 5 but I would be lying if I said I’m not nervous about no AWD… anyone have experience driving one in true snowy conditions? We live in ME so I can get pretty messy on the roads

How do you put the Honda Odyssey in the pedal shift mode nobody shows that if you know how and does it bother the transmission at all in it how should you tow with it is there a tow hall mode where is it should you use the panel shift when you told a trailer

When you are reviewing the engine you talked about the benefit of having extra space if you wanted to “run lines”, what does that mean? What kind of lines? I’m just really curious. Love your video btw😀

Great review, thanks for all the detail. Only down side to no standard nav, if you're in an area with no cell reception your phone navigation won't work, been there myself. Only thing I dislike about the Odyssey, is the digital instrument display, it looks cheap to me.

I think it's absolutely scummy that Honda removed the rear entertainment from the EXL when it had it in the previous gen. Rear seat entertainment is one BIG reason we wanted one. Now I'm going to have to get a drop down monitor and and AI box and have an HDMI cable strewn through the car, and be unable to split front headunit sound from the rear. Thanks Honda, but at least I got a sunroof I'll never use 🙄.

I wish made the Odyssey with a AWD option, need that for mtn snow. The hell with tire chains. The pilot is an option, but less room. Not a fan of the Tahoe or ford's garbage product

OMG does anyone else think this guy talks about 100 miles a minute? I cant understand anything he's says!! I Mean he's on extra high gear.....Have to record what he says then put it in slowwww mode on playback.The first time I heard him, thought something was wrong with the recording. There wasnt!
