2022 Honda Passport Elite - Is It A Mid-Size SUV Worth The Price? 

Only thing I like to see is, a more atractive back lights. They look a bit small to me.

This vehicle should come with a full-size spare, especially for the Trailsport model. It would be beneficial if the skid plate covered the catalytic converter to deter thefts.

20" wheel are not options-its standard on the elite models. If the dealer has it listed as an option, its wrong and they better have not charged extra for it.

Nothing wrong with the shifter. Doesn't take long to get use to

Wife just got the 2022 Passport Elite. She doesn't like that the ride is kinda stiff. It can really bounce going over speed bumps. And the display screen is too small. A little more details would be nice. Felt kinda rushed. Is there a way to open the lift gate from the drivers seat? Hate paying for something we'll never use like the paddle shifters. Love the room all the way around. A little more towing power would be nice, say 7,500 and include a tow hitch. Or at least include the tow hitch. Seats could use a little more cushion and it would be nice if they could maneuver up and down. Better tires. I have no idea what the brand is on the speakers. Bose or some other known brand would be nice. No brand name makes me think they're cheap. That's the nicest way i can put it. Lol. And a full size spare would be great. Don't care for that shifter setup. Someone is going to spill something on it and cause major problems. Having it next to the cupholders is asking for trouble.

A redesign hybrid Passport will be a game changer for mid-sized SUVs. I'm a Toyota owner for 200K+ miles, but this is the first Honda that I would seriously consider along with the CRV hybrid. When they finally do a Passport Hybrid & go back to a standard gear shifter & get rid of the push button shifter, I'm sold. ;)

Please bring back the shifter , buttons suck! I own a 2021 car is great buttons suck . I have been driving for 50 years can't get comfortable with buttons! Thanks!!!

The two vehicles I've both had, that had panoramic roofs developed creaking after 20k miles. One being a Hyundai, the other being a GM product... Glad this has a standard sunroof.

Why the push button shifter? Why am I stuck with it?

i have the 2019 sport version. it suits me, plus i got it for 28K$ brand new, MSRP was like 33.5K (with destination). i really can't see myself paying 40K for the new lowest trim of this vehicle. 2023, honda got rid of sport and EX-L is the lowest trim starting at 37K with destination it is close to 39K. Honda figured that most buyers of this SUV are older individuals who are in a higher income bracket. the passport was marketed to younger people, like myself, who purchased the entry level sport trim. they are now shifting to a more sophisticated and older demographic as the sales data suggest the people who buy the passport are mostly older people who no longer need a 7 passenger SUV cause the kids are all grown and off to college...

A panoramic sunroof is needed. More power for a Sport/ST model would be a welcomed change. Quilted seat patten should be on Elite model. Full digital display with 10-12 inch screen.

Want the stick shifter back.

Good review. BTW, you don’t have to take that whole underfloor plastic tray out to access the spare tire. Just lift the other half of the cargo floor and you’ll find a little more storage, and the spare.

Need to replace old school emergency brake and bring back the gearshift and console armrest. Minivan arm rests not comfortable.

Like the Vehicle a lot, I’m considering the trailsport trim. I can really do without a piano black on the front of the vehicle. It just seems to be a dust magnet. Might cover it up with chrome tape.

I leased a Honda passport trailsport, I've had it for about four plus months and it may be the relaxing and fun to drive vehicle I've had, and I've had a lot my previous favorite was 08 Chevy Avalanche. But that cost a lot more to drive.

The trailsport have 18” wheels on all other trims all have 20”

I have the trailsport don't like the wheels that came with it otherwise I like mine overall 2022

I like this one very much have it written in it I’m looking for a new vehicle for the spring, I would like to see the computer system bigger it’s very small I do not know how well it works I navigating and looking at it. I do like the roominess and putting things in there I have a bigger car than that right now I need to scale down little bit thanks for the input

Was that a 115V outlet at lower rear of console area? Can you plug in a coffee maker? Also, did you mention the auto-charging feature that starts the car to prevent battery drainage? Thanks for recording the rear compartment with the seats folded flat, I appreciate being able to see that entire cargo area as it would be the reason for me to trade. My 19 lb dog thinks he can sit on the storage console cover? The 12 lb female doesn't let him on the front seat... any ideas?

Temperature control should be knobs not up and down levers. I drove a passport yesterday and it was something I noticed and didn't like. Took a little while to go from. Say 60° to 80° if you're getting into a cold car. Versus a knob you can just rotate quickly and get where you got to go like they have on the accords.

Why 18in wheels and not 20? I hate small tires on big vehicles.

I would like the 2023 Honda Passport to have a brown leather interior design for the seats with white stitching. As well as that panoramic sun roof

I have the Passport Elite.Overall I really like it but my complaints would be height. It would be safer and a more stable ride if it were not so tall. And the steering wheel is too skinny. The guy in video said 18 inch wheels but I believe the Elite has 20 inch. Other than that it is a nice ride, very easy to drive around town. This is the largest vehicle I have ever owned. All other cars I have owned were low profile (Celica, Maxima, Crosstour) so perhaps all SUVs ride like this one on the highway but I believe the height is an issue making it blow around somewhat on the highway. I had a CRV hybrid but that car was so light I quickly traded it in as it really blew around on the highway. I love Hondas but if I had to buy a vehicle tomorrow I would look for one that is not so tall.
