Sorry y'all for the delay in videos... life has been a little crazy. Any who, Hoyt quivers are coming at ya!! I will have updated video regarding weights.... HANG TIGHT! again, thanks always for checking us out.
Thank you. I went with the two piece a couple weeks ago when I got my ultra. Identical to the one you did. Great video glad to see someone do this. Preferred it over the 2.5 tightspot
HHA also offers a picattiny mount for $39.99 that fits certain of their sights. I ordered one and used it on my tournament edition sight. It is rock solid, unique and helps with weight distribution noticeably. I went with the Carbon Superlite shorty quiver on my RX7 Ultra blackout nicknamed Venom. This thing is a shooter for sure.
Awesome review and love your videos! Would love to see a quick review or just your opinion on the new Hoyt stabilizers when you get them in. Keep the content coming!
Love the gear review videos you’re doing! The only critique I have is that I like to see some up close shots while your assembling the parts, it’s hard to see exactly what and where you are assembling from the distance you are taking the video. Great videos and free knowledge, keep it coming! 👍🏻
This was just the video I needed. I have been debating between the two quivers and this completely answered all my questions. Also still looking forward to the bow builds. Super curious to see how you would set up the Hoyt
Good information. I ordered the 2 piece superlite 4 arrow from you this week in kuiu verde pattern for my RX7. I am still on the fence if the 6 arrow would have been better or not. Figured that 3 hunting arrows and one arrow for fowl should be enough. However, I think now after reading back, that the removable one may have been better to fit in my hard case. hmmm, hate it when that happens (when you think you have it just right then find out it may not). Thanks for the good info and for supporting veterans with discounts.
I flipped my quiver upside down to get the majority of the weight below my hand. I have a VXR 31.5 and the older Mathews detachable quiver, luckily it's symmetrical so I didn't need an opposite hand quiver to do it.
I ordered the one piece with my RX7 Ultra. Easy removal for placing in the Pelican Case and when I shoot indoor or 3D with the leg quiver instead. I also suspected no need for the rear stabilizer with the quiver on but ordered one anyways for the same reason. Should be interesting to see what tinkering is needed when using Hoyts 10” up front and the 6” on the rear. I drank all the Hoyt Kool-Aid this year in Subalpine flavour to match my camo…..there’s a support group for us right?? Now if only someone can 3D print a click-in rear limb stand to get the cam off the ground when using Go-Stixs. 🤷♂️
The Tight-Spot is also a really nice quiver. I just put one on my Ventum Pro 30 today. I had the 2 piece but I like the Tight-Spot better. And I can take it off to put it in my hard case easier. But you really can’t go wrong with either.
I would love it if you made some hats and T shirts. I probably won’t ever make it to Spokane valley but it’d be awesome to have something to remember/rep the shop.
Great video MFJJ...i didn't see the weight info at the end of the video or in the show notes but that's ok, you answered almost all of my questions. Now all i need to do it decide whether to get black or wilderness green for my wilderness green bow?!? I think i like the contrast of the black...any thoughts from the crowd?
Mfjj, can you please do a detailed in-depth video of what you look for in an all around bow and arrow setup for a hunting rig that someone can’t hunt a variety of animals with?
@2:04, Spot Hogg doesn’t make a picatinny mount option, BUT a company called X-Pro makes an adapter for the Fast Eddie series sights and I love it (btw, what knife is that?)
I’m over here looking on your website to order the two-piece and when I was looking and watching you said “we can’t sell them online” ugggghhh I want to get one for my Hoyt satori
The top HEX on the Ventum Pro 30 is crooked in the riser. The bottom one is perfect, but the top I had to use a washer to bypass the hex indentation in order to line the top half up properly! Also, the hex rails don't fit into the indents on the Ventum Pro 30, if you tighten down all the way it strips the paint on the hex rails.
With the QAD you cannot go past the indents on either side! An arrow touches the QAD arrow rest level/knob. The hamskea wont go as tight as the QAD either.
Hey MFJJ hopefully you see this, I have a Mathews V3 would you recommend the Mathews 2 piece or the tight spot 2.5? I have the one piece detachable one now and hate it!!!
I experienced the same thing! The top HEX on the Ventum Pro 30 is crooked in the riser. The bottom one is perfect, but the top I had to use a washer to bypass the hex in order to line the top half up properly!
If you have a drop rest (90% of people) you won’t get this close. Once the arrows are all in. You will have clearance issues and must use the extension. Also, be careful of the alignment.
Thank you for the video. Much appreciated. Maybe going forward on product reviews, get some close up shots to better see the product. It’s hard to see detail in a cluttered background.
I bought the 2 piece 4 arrow. I want to LOVE this quiver BUT my 125 gr. QAD Exodus fixed heads are SUPER TIGHT. I tried my Magnus Black Hornets and I have the same problem. You literally have to put them in just perfect. The other thing I don't care for is the foam insert. When I got the quiver, assembled it, then situated my arrows & heads I practically destroyed the foam insert before even hunting. I really like the design but the hood is just to small for 125 gr. fixed heads. I see this quiver being perfect for 100 gr. fixed or expandable heads but not 125's. Has anyone had this same problem? Are all the other hoods on the Hoyt quivers the same? I debating going back to a Tight Spot.
That’s very strange that Hoyt can’t sell their stuff online 😤 are you a registered hoyt dealer 🤔 and it would be amazing to have Hoyt dealer in west cork 🇮🇪 rather than halfway up the country in Ennis Co. Claire Ireland 🇮🇪
An arrow weights about an ounce so everytime you shoot an arrow fom your bow quiver you're affecting the balance of the bow. Bow quivers are great to travel but once hunting...quiver on the hip!
