I love my Ventum Pro 30. Very solid bow. I shot the V3X and felt like the Ventum had less vibration. It was a tough pick between the V3X and the Ventum. But for me, the Ventum seemed to shoot a hair smoother.
Honest reviews are SO appreciated and highly needed around here. Also you guys have a great web store and the fastest shipping I have seen, in an era of Amazon that is fast! Thank you.
Your reviews are great! I would like to see a comparison between the tops carbons RX7 Ultra and PSE Levitate and aluminums V3X 33 from Mathews and Ventum Pro 33 Hoyt 2022 bows! Would be fantastic and a great help to decide what bow I should go for.
Enjoy all your vids JJ I’ve learned a lot from you. Any chance you have vids on getting a bow into spec as far as adjusting cables to get axle to axle into range. How crucial is that when fine tuning. Thank you JJ.
Love these reviews and the channel! But given the amount of reviews I’ve seen on here it seems they have a constant low reading on fps with most bows but everywhere else I see a speed test they’re actually close to manufacturers specs. I don’t know if their chronograph is out or if it needs to be bare shaft etc, no clue but I’ve seen multiple other speed tests where both the Hoyt and Mathews were within like 5fps
I just shot the Hoyt 30 today. When I was picking up my Easton axis 5mm 340 spine arrows. It shoots ok. But I am a bowtech guy. And the 14th BOWTECH drops
Is there anyway you can update the web store. I noticed you guys offer a lot more products in your store by watching your videos compared to what is on your web store. Thank you and keep sending the detailed and honest review videos
This years quibbling... over 15 feet per second here... or there... Is what finally got me to make the jump to go retro... buy an Oneida Phoenix... And shoot instinctive, with fingers.
Hey man. Been watching your stuff for a few weeks now. Great content. I currently have a bow tech guardian. I’m just not completely satisfied with it. It doesn’t pack enough punch. Feels slow. Got any recommendations on a bow? Possibly set me up?
Really like the Ventum pro. I shot both Ventum pro and rx7 ultra back to back several times. I liked the draw cycle and string angle on the rx7 better but could not tell a difference in hand shock or noise. Both very dead bows. I went with the Ventum.
Josh I knew you shoot Bowtech . I'm a short guy at 5'7"; I have 28 draw I'm looking to buy a 30 or 31 axle bow I looking at Bowtech CP30 or the Hoyt Ventum30 or Hoyt VTM 31 . You have shot every now out there. What you options on those bows. Because I had a Bowtech SR6 . I'm in the process of selling it to a friend of mine. Which of those bows would be a good fit for me. I'm from Pennsylvania I don't really shoot over 50 to 65 yards
Definitely like the channel!!! Keep up the good work. I'm thinking about upgrading my set up. I'm currently shooting a Halon 7. I'm interested in the Mathews VX3 29 and the Hoyt Ventrum Pro. According the specs both bows are close. You shot both of them how do they stack up in your opinion??
I started out with the V3X and wasn’t 100% satisfied and I’ve been seeing a lot of cam bearing failures and cable failures and I went back to bow shop to test shoot the Ventum pro 30 and While I was there I seen a V3X failure in person. Regardless of that, after shooting the Ventum Pro 30 I liked it a lot better so I traded my V3X and got the Hoyt! I got the Hoyt Ventum Pro 30 blackout Cam Hanes edition , 60#, 29” draw. Both the V3X wasn’t bad by no means but IMO the Hoyt was smoother on draw, the grip was ALOT better and the bow balanced better for me.
MFJJ need a recommendation. I have a 27 in DL at 63#. I have moved to CO and was wondering what bow would you suggest, I have an older Elite Synergy now. Would it be worth upgrading? The Elite is a great whitetail bow, wondering if there is something better for out west here. Also do you ship?
So I purchased the new Ventum Pro 30 in May and now have 500+ shots through it. I recently noticed it has started to make a “creaking” sound. It seems to be coming from the cams- possibly the draw module making contact/shifting during the 1st inch of the draw cycle. Have you experienced and customers with this issue? Were you able to correct it? I called Hoyt last week and they said to take it in to a dealer and have them look at it. I usually prefer to do my own work since i live an hour from a dealer- nice shooting bow but disappointed in this. Unacceptable that a $1200 bow starts to make this type of noise after 500 shots. Thoughts?
Now I'm not a professional archer but my carbon spider 34 shoot Wuts advertised with a certain arrow , but for the most point it shots 8 ft different depending on Wut arrows I use .
Arrow weight makes a difference. Bow companies shoot max draw or 30 inch, 70 pounds, with 350 grain arrow and nothing on the strings. Peep and d loop slow it down some.
From what I've googled, a whisker biscuit slows the arrow down 3-4 fps. I think they are just testing their bows in space. No gravity and no atmosphere.
@@Hamasisfilthytrash im not all that serious about buying a bow when my bow works just fine and i don't feel like driving an hour just to test a bow at the moment, so until then ill keep researching
@@KTMsoldier1988 opinions mean nothing my guy it’s all about how it feels and shoots for you who would purchase a 1300 dollar naked bow based off RU-vid?
makes you wonder what they are using to get those speeds. they all lie and it gets old when a new bow drops we know before its even shot take 10-20 fps off what they say sad really...
