This is probably a basic question but I'm struggling to find a video to help me out. I recently purchased a 2022 Hoyt Ventum Pro 30, I want to do the build myself and I am going slow to get it right, Question ??When setting my nock height or position on my string, some say to measure from axle to axle, cut in half and measure off one axle and there is your center on the string, Others talk about a high nocking point? I also purchased the Hoyt QAD rest and some say to put the rest on and zero the rest out on the bow limb marks for the rest and then find your nocking point off the rest with a string T-square. Sorry for the long winded question but any guidance and advice is appreciated.
With the rest installed and right about in the center of the up and down travel. Run the center of the arrow shaft through the burger so the shaft is perpendicular to the string. That’s always worked for me with any bow. You may need to move it as your doing your paper tune but it’s a solid start.
is hoyt coming back around? From a guy who'd prefer to shoot hoyt... man the last 3 years the mathews has just been all around better. Haven't got this in hand yet
