Funny you mention that. I almost put something about that in the video. I found when taking off the front bumper, you have easy access to change the bulbs without removing the headlights.

I installed STXH intercooler on my Corolla GR. On stock tune it doesnt heat soak as bad and pulls a bit harder. Nice upgrade .. When we first installed, we had boost leaks from not tightening the clamps enough. But we pressure tested and fould all the boost leaks and now it great. Make sure you check for leaks, you can hear them in full boost.

Thank you for the heads up! I plan to recheck all the camps after a 100 miles of driving. I definitely notice the car pulling harder. The temp is also lower than it was with the stock intercooler.

Like any modification, it can void your warranty that applies to your car’s engine. It all depends on the dealership and potential issues you might encounter.

@@rawtaa8591 I don’t know an exact time, due to all the filming I have to do, but it’s not a long install at all. Honestly, it’s one of the easier upgrades I’ve done. Getting the bumper off is no big deal, I’ve done it many times at this point. The main thing is getting the clamps positioned in a way you can tighten them down easily and tightly. I had the cold side pop off a couple of times after I first installed it and had to reposition the clamp so I could make it tighter. The clamp i had issue with was the one that connects to the top of the cold pipe in the driver’s side.

I didn’t see it in the video so I’m assuming the stock bottom shroud didn’t fit back on after installing the intercooler 😢

@@jayrockfromdablock2940 Correct, the plastic shroud in front of the factory intercooler does not go back on. If you want some type of shroud, I would suggest a Forge intercooler if their i30N intercooler would fit. Also N75 has a new intercooler coming out. Both have shrouds built in, if that is a concern you have. I just got a Forge intercooler for my wife’s Veloster N and it has shroud pieces built in and it’s very nice.

Excellent coverage on this install and the layout of the OEM parts. Random question but if you still have the stock cold side silicone pipe, is there anyway you could tell me the thickness (4mm, 5mm, 6mm)? I'm selecting silicone adapters for my methanol project. Figured you may have the stock hose and calipers lol.

Do they still ship the 'SXTH' stencil to paint their logo on it?

@@EthanBanyard I would reach out to them. I can’t remember if it was Sxth or Forge, but I read something that one of the intercooler companies did stop shipping their intercooler with a stencil.
