Very good and informative video. I demo’s a Challenger and a Chieftain in Daytona last year. I was impressed with both of them. Coming from Harley’s, I found them both to feel much lighter and handle better. I ended up buying a 2022 Chieftain Limited a month ago and am loving it! I did add the rear saddle bag guards and have caught my left foot under it a few times now. It does hurt!
I was just at that dealership about 2 weeks ago when I was checking out that new casino across the freeway. They didn't have any Pursuits on hand and the sales guy Jim (can't remember last name) told me there's like a 6 month back order on them. Doing some pricing it sounds like the top of the line Pursuit premium package out the door is around $41,500 which would be a better value for the Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra CVO that I seen at Sacramento Harley over $51k. That of course was with a $5k dealer markup. Can't wait till they contact me for another demo day. BTW, that thingy that snagged your left foot is a bag guard.
Yeah, bag guard for sure. 😆 Value for the Indian touring bikes is definitely better than the Harley baggers. Hope you're able to get on one soon. It's a great bike. 👍🏽

You'll find the Indian bikes ride way better and feel way more nimble and still way more stable on the highway at the same time. You could buy a $50K CVO and still the suspension and seat won't be as comfortable as a Chieftain lol. Plus, for the money you spend, the Indian is gonna have much nicer features standard that you'd have too pay thousands extra for too get on a HD

And I am speaking as a Harley owner lol I have a 2020 Softail Standard, and while it's been a good bike for 6k miles, part of owning a Harley comes with an acceptance that there's A LOT of potential serious problems. You know why Harley guys are always worried about dealer networks? Because they know, in the back of their mind, there's a good chance they're gonna break down and have to use them. I can tell you for a fact tho, my next bike is gonna be a new Chief
I have watched every video that I can and have decided on a Pursuit. I'm also a short rider with over 50 years experience in the saddle on MX and cruisers. Thank you for the kind words. I use a GoPro Hero 10, with the Media Mod so I can use an external mic into my helmet. My external mic just has a standard mic filter (no dead-cat) on it.
