I just bought a used Bobber a 2020 20 model with 8600 miles and it was 12grand. I did change the seat, put floor boards on it and waiting for the windshield now. I am 5'5" and it is low enough for me to be flat footed. Good Video.

@drifter-indian1448
@drifter-indian1448 2 года назад
Yup.. planning on a fender delete and switching to 240MM for rear tire.. but that has to wait. Going wide and removing fender means I can not ride it with passenger or in rain/splash like conditions. Will go that route after I get another daily rider, not now.

@drifter-indian1448
@drifter-indian1448 Год назад
If your bike is brand new, you may want to use it for sometime and look for a used bobber for upgrade, that way you won't have to spend/lose too much money. Bobber is definitely bigger and looks much better the v7, but it also costs more. All comes down your preference.

Thanks for the information. I too have a scout bobber 21 model. I like the seat that you chose. I bought the corbin and it's still not as comfortable as I would like. Can you tell me how long you can ride your bike before you get uncomfortable?
@drifter-indian1448
@drifter-indian1448 Год назад
Hello there.. as far as I know the Corbins are known to take some time before they break-in... I hope yours will get better too. I went with Syndicate 2up for its looks and the fact it was still wayyyy better than stock. I comfortably ride it on highway for at least an hour and half, then it starts getting a bit itchy and I have to anyways stop to refill the tank. So kinda works out for me.. especially because the tank/fuel range is barely enough to go more than 120-30 miles.

Hey buddy What do you think of the Syndicate 2-Up seat? Is it worth the money? For me this would be the final modification to my '22 Scout Bobber and I'm not yet sure if this is the seat that offers the best combination of comfort and seating position for me. Thanks for the video and hopefully for your answer too!
@drifter-indian1448
@drifter-indian1448 2 года назад
In my opinion it's totally worth it. Between the stock and comfort seats that Indian sells, I think the Syndicate 2-up is the best seat. It looks and feels great. It could use some more cushion and padding but still not bad. Considering it's for rider and passengers for less than $450 it's cost effective too. If you are looking for solo seat, you may also look at Syndicate solo for half the price.

@drifter-indian1448
@drifter-indian1448 Год назад
It was great! I was looking for stock but none of the dealership had one ready to go. Called multiple places and found one in Austin with shortest wait time. Most of the communications took place via phone or email. Very responsive and have no complaints. The fees and charges varied between dealers but I found a good deal. About 3 months of wait and the dealership called me as soon as they got the motorcycle. I showed up to their place in the morning and they had everything ready for me. Signed the paperwork and out in less than an hour.

@@godsmack7734 that's what the dealers do. Doing our research and comparing costs/fees is the best way to go. I found at leat $800 difference in what was quoted by my local dealer in Houston vs the one I finally went with, was 200 miles away from me, but worked out. And the dealership actually helped me get reimbursed pipes which came in different color that what I had ordered. Got a cal from Indian customer service and they explained it was due to supply shortage and they had sent what they could find, but did give me a full refund to buy another pipe of my liking

@drifter-indian1448
@drifter-indian1448 2 года назад
@@palerider8992 if you ask me, I think most Bobbers end up looking like Rouge. With bigger front wheels, the blacked out pipes and heads, syndicate seat, the ape handlebars and fairing the Rouge has good value for money, but looks wise Bobber is definitely better (you compromise on comfort). I suggest you do a test ride.. both have same base and engine. Also, currently the wait times are crazy, I would recommend you look for a used low mile Bobber,that might have better value for yout money.
