thank you so much but I did what your video said and it work for awhile but now it will not go off. I do your reset(will not save). I get a message that my settings are saved in my profile. so I go into my profile and reset there and it still will not save. Can you help me?

Hello I just purchased a 2022 Jeep Compass on 8/622 and having issues with the screen going black, the radio plays but the back up camera doesn't work, and the latitude letting me know if I'm traveling S, E SE etc doesn't work. I'm ready to give my jeep back to dealership. What could be the cause of this? Thank you for your help. Zonna
The screen will sometimes go black when the radio is downloading / installing updates. Only thing I can recommend without being there is to press the radio power button for 10-15 seconds which will do a factory reset. If that doesn’t help solve your problems I would recommend visiting the dealer you purchased the vehicle from.
Well, I had to take my Jeep Compass to the dealership on Tuesday morning, I went to the store Monday, and the back up camera screen is solid blue with message across the top saying, camera system unavailable.
Hey Mike, any advice for the service FCW on a 2022 Jeep Renegade? Mine just came on randomly at 3k miles. Tried to reset by removing the negative battery cable but still comes on. I also tried on the screen setting to switch it back on but won’t allow it. Thanks for any feedback!
One year later is almost the same for the 2023 model with the exception that pedestrian emergency braking is set to offer the update and forward collision warning cannot be set to off like you can't manually set it off it may also be set to off, I was able to set it back on and the symbol disappeared. However I do have a question in addition to seeing that I also saw the four-wheel drive all-wheel drive lock lights alternating flash left and right and I think it was because I accidentally bumped the 4-wheel drive low button. However I noticed that both of the collision warning light was on and those lights were flashing. I'm wondering, I'm reading a 12.8 v on the battery at idle in about 13.4 on acceleration is that good it sounds like it's just borderline. The car has 6859 m. A bad battery would not seem plausible at this time. A system update, I suppose the system update can happen at any time and then, in other words to download happens when the car is off or idle but the install might happen at any time while the car is running, does this make sense because the light came on while I was driving.
It’s hard to say without being there to see what is happening. I would try doing a hard reset on the radio by pressing and holding the power button for the radio for 10-15 seconds. Then repeat the steps in this video. See if that helps. Report back :-)
This is happening on my 2022 Jeep Renegade Latitude. I tried your suggestion with the car not running and with the car running and it still reverts back to the off position. When I try to change it to "warning only" or "warning and braking" it makes a ping sound and pops back to OFF. So frustrating. Any other suggestions?
This continues to be a problem with my Jeep Compass. Once I change the settings they will turn off on their own and it's impossible to get them to come back on. I have cleaned all my sensors on the Jeep windshield and front grill and I still cannot get the forward Collision warning to turn back on hence the pedestrian emergency braking will not turn back on.
