I’m a Grand Cherokee guy. I think the L and the Wagoneer are nice, but too big for me. Jeep is just adding more and more luxury with every new vehicle. I just hope I can afford to keep buying them. Lol
Yeah these are getting expensive too. The normal sized Grand Cherokee is a great option and should be a bit cheaper then the L and I'd think the normal trims are more normal priced. Overland is a bit extra with it's features and cost
The Wagoneer would get the notoriety for being the "bigger" vehicle but it's something about that Cherokee and it's got a lot of pull. And love how the seats slowly move after pressing the buttons!
I was fortunate to drive the Jeep GC L for a week. I was amazed by its power and space. But looking at the Wagoneer, I think there is more I can try someday.
I saw a Grand Cherokee (regular not L) for the first time IRL today and I thought it was a Wagoneer. Now looking at the size difference I am in awe at the sheer Size of the Wagoneer, it totally dwarfs the Grand Cherokee
I drove them both yesterday. The Wagoneer drives like a dream. I drove the Wagoneer III and the Grand Cherokee L Overland. The Overland has the stiff, truck like ride that I remember in all the Jeeps I’ve owned (CJ5, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Liberty, Commander). The Wagoneer drives like my BMW X5M. Not kidding. I was blown away by how much easier it is to drive. I don’t need the size, but I do like the power of the turbo and the smooth ride. Plus the larger cabin. I drove Wagoneer first and once I got into the GCL, I felt immediately cramped. Likely buying the Wagoneer Monday.
nice like them both , long wheel base, v8 power, can tow , cargo space ,just have no need for a 7-9 passenger family car for 1 or 2 people , id buy one if I could delate the 3rd row, might increase the towing and increase payload ?

@@BrosFOURRSpeed In China, many non-Chinese brands are making long wheelbase versions of their cars, specifically for sale in China and nowhere else, cos in China, space in the back matters a lot. But outside of China, you see more long wheelbase vehicles than before.
Great comparison. I can’t take the Grand Cherokee L black gloss all over the place inside. I like the Wagoneer interior better. Grand Cherokee looks better, Wagoneer looks awkward from side profile.
They could put brown wood panels on the side along with retro interior on a special edition with retro wheels that resemble the first generation with white wall tires. That sounds like a cool idea! 😎

Both are good vehicles that are similar to each other in multiple ways like brothers. If Mike and Brian were Jeep vehicles then one would be the Grand Cherokee Overland and the other the Wagoneer. 😁

I really don't get it; jeep had no three-row SUVs for years and years, and all of a sudden they introduce 2 models at once! Also, what is the core difference between the two? Wouldn't it have been more logical to offer different trims for the Grand Cherokee, making the top trim the most expensive/ luxurious!
The closest one they have to a supercar is the Jeep Trackhawk with the hellcat engine. Jeep could stuff the 6.2L supercharged V8 into their new Grand Cherokee, tune it up for a couple more ponies and sell it as the new Trackhawk.
Some people need or want the extra space and when you are buying a vehicle like this, mpg might not really be important to the buyer. Gas prices fluctuate and while they are high now, they'll go back down.
@@papagen00 It’s a personal preference, that’s great if that’s how you did it, but some people want a bigger vehicle. Everyone has a different preference that’s why there are multiple options to choose from.

The Grand Cherokee is supposed to have air ride on certain trim levels, and some vehicles have indeed been produced with it, but supply chain problems have meant that currently they're building them without it.
I’ve seen this conversation or confusion come up here and there with these two which is so bizarre to me. Like what’s the issue? Do we also need to point out the differences between the Explorer and the Expedition...Acadia and Yukon... Pathfinder and Armada? Are people seriously stumped by this???
If someone is in the market for either of these SUV's and don't know which one they want to go with, this can be helpful. If you want a third row just in case and won't use it much, you'd go with the Cherokee L, if you really needed that extra space and more room in the third row, you'd go with the Wagoneer. People who are actively searching would like to see a comparison, so if you aren't in the market or interested, this isn't a video for you.

I don’t understand how people understand this when it comes to say a Highlander and the Sequoia, but don’t get this principle when it comes to Jeep. Pretty open and shut to me. Yes some of them are observations, but even the tech is different as well, so people will want to see that. A highlander and Sequoia are completely different on the interior as well, I've been in both, so they are very different, so a comparison on those would be great to see. This content isn't just for people minutes away, I was meaning people are are actively searching and wanting to buy the vehicle, but yes anyone can view them, I wasn't saying you can't....but it's helpful for people actively searching.
When I was a Car Salesperson to avoid a lot of unnecessary demonstration Quack I used to ask the customer; "What are the FEATURES that you are most interested in that will be important in your next Vehicle?" That way you find out what the customer is really looking for especially in a Luxury vehicle. If you show them everything it takes too much Time and you also can lose the person's interest quickly. Of course if they say they want to see it all then you can still do that too.
I've never been a car salesman so I'm sure there are tricks and tips you learn along the way to make some quick sales and still show them what they are looking for!
