Another great performance. I love how you get older musicians to come and play with your younger musicians. I know the young players are learning a lot from working with the older players. But more important, it is clear that the older musicians enjoy working the young players. Thank you for a great performance, and for showing a great way to teach young people.

Another young band blossoms - under the il grande Signor Direttore in white print shirt!! Very bright shirt. Great to see Richard again, I think I remember him in Up a Lazy River si? And Josef of course. The other gentlemen are new to me, as are many of the new young poeple. As my projects slow this month. I'll try to be more regular. Grazie mille - state tutti bene e al sicuro.

[ English ] The umpteenth genius of maestro Chamorro: mixing the youngest kids of the current SAJB with a handful of veterans, the brilliant Josep Traver on banjo and three of the historical members of the legendary band "La Locomotora Negra" (what good memories it brings me from my already very distant youth): Ricard Gili, Marc Trepap and Toni Gili. By the way, all three are amateur musicians, as incredible as it may seem: the first two architects and the last high school teacher. Pure Dixieland, happy, rhythmic and fun, played with talent and a lot of passion. Bravo. [ Español ] La enésima genialidad del maestro Chamorro: mezclar a los chavales más jóvenes de la actual SAJB con un puñado de veteranos, el gran Josep Traver al banjo y tres de los miembros históricos de la legendaria banda "La Locomotora Negra" (que buenos recuerdos me trae de mi ya muy lejana juventud): Ricard Gili, Marc Trepat y Toni Gili. Por cierto que los tres son músicos aficionados, por increíble que pueda parecer: los dos primeros arquitectos y el último profesor de instituto. Reminds me of my High School Band Days. Unlike today we did a different half time show each Football Game. My Junior Year we did a Dixieland Them show. I was in the Jazz band group that came in front of the Band. I played Clarinet. Before band practice we always came in early and got in corner of the band room and Jammed!
