This 2022 Kawasaki ZX6r came in basically stock, but with a power commander 5 installed with an unknown tune. That's where the trouble started. The dyno baseline for this bike came in all over the place. Not only was the Kawasaki running super rich, it was actually losing power in the higher RPM range. This is a cause for concern when it comes to overall performance of this zx6r. The 636 isn't the most powerful bike out there, but it shouldn't look like this! After a baseline and figuring out the power commander 5 issues, we swapped out the stock air filter with a sprint p08 street filter and added graves VE2 velocity stacks, which give your bike a better overall power band increase. We also do a quick airbox mod to this sport bike to help increase airflow. Simple, but it works. The overall results after these zx6r mods and dyno tune were much better than how it came in.
