I have had my mbrp on my Stinger for over a year and they are built like tanks. Solid winter driving and little to no rust. It sounds glorious at higher revs and offers lots of burbles.
Sounds damn good. Literally the best daily driver exhaust one could get for the stinger that is not insanely loud. Videos online really don't do justice to most exhaust sounds. It's always louder in person. The small phone mic cannot pickup the sound that well. I got the stainless steel one that is not the valved system that I will be putting on this weekend along with some nice exhaust tips to reduce possible drone. Stock is far too restrictive and far too quiet. I tried a muffler delete and holy hell the drone has been driving me absolutely insane. Muffler deletes are just bad. Need a full catback system.
Great video man! Quick question - how does the sound differ with the various drive modes - comfort, sport, etc. This integrates with the built in valve if I'm not mistaken?
I was one of the first 5 to install this on mine. Yes it integrates with the active exhaust. Very simple if you follow the directions to ensure proper valve position when installing. Comfort/eco sound the same. Valve opens in sport mode. I definite difference in tone. I turned off the internal fake sound system generated exhaust note. No need for it with this exhaust. There is a bit of drone initially at 1300-1500 rpm. I installed 2.5inch extensions and the slight drone moved to 2200rpm which is at 85mph. Folks say aftermarket exhaust tips completely removes the drone but I haven’t found ones I like yet. I’ll probably try 3inch extensions.
So do u think I need downpipe as well. I don't want mine to loud but loud enough. Shop said I need downpipe as well but I think they are just trying to get extra money
