2022 Lexus NX 350 F Sport: Is The New NX Worth The Cost? 

Gorgeous.. I currently own a IS250.. this NX will possibly be its replacement

I like it the more I watch other reviewers videos on it seems solid fun and has a great overall design I love the tail lights and front end infotainment systems looks nice and quick too just wish it wasn't 55k but is what it is.

Ben, my wife copped a loaded NX 350h back in April and she's getting 37 mpg. I heard the gasoline version's fuel economy is disappointing.

Imo I feel like this is how the new RX should look like. Idk why Lexus decided to come out with the NX Redesign first but now it looks like the RX is copying the NX.

I don’t think I caught what he said but does this one turn off when you come to a full stop at the light, etc?

I bought my Lexus F Sport on impulse. First time in my (long) life. I traded in my Audi Q5, which had 57k miles on it and never had a lick of trouble. I like the NX’s tech (mostly). The 14” touch screen is good, it sits at an angle toward the driver and is easy to reach. It is a Toyota, so reliability was a reason I got it…I guess. The car is slightly smaller than the Q, about 15% less cargo room. The car has front wheel drive bias so the steering is heavy. The Q is front wheel bias too, but it is also imperceptible. It is slow off the line under acceleration. The engine is loud and kind of whiny. With the torque and HP the car should be quicker. Passing acceleration is fine. The run flats add to road noise. Much prefer a spare. One major issue: one of the reasons I got the car was the Monroney saying you can tow 2,200 lbs. Mine is a 2023 and the car has been out for one year. There is still NO tow hitch to be had for the F Sport trim; not from Lexus or any other manufacturer. Bait and switch to me. I am either going to get lucky with a trailer guy I know when I am back home in March from Florida or I am going to angrily dump the car. The engine on the Acura is even louder than the NX but it handles a bit better and is slightly quicker. Not as quick as the Q either. From what I could tell on the tech, the RDX would be a pain in the butt. Has more room than the NX. I would say the seats on the Acura MIGHT be better as it is hard to tell in a short test drive. My car came with factory paint protection film on the front end and mirrors and the dealer had his markup for ceramic coating and LoJack. The only thing that will get stolen in my catalytic so that was a waste. If I had to buy a NX and go back in time, I would have gone for the NX 450h+ IF I could qualify for the $7,500 tax credit. Quicker and better gas mileage. I have heard the brakes are not so good on the hybrid trims but the F Sport brakes are very good. In hindsight, potential reliability and resale value be damned, I would have gotten the GV 70 2.5. About the same price overall but a nicer car, engine wise and handling. I like the red and blue options on the Lexus, mine is the Cloudburst Gray which is more conservative but also works well with the black wheels. I never drove the old NX but sat in one once and did not care for it. This is nicer car, no doubt. There is no perfect car but I would describe this one as more than adequate.
