While I agree it is more appealing (I have a loaded 2019 F-Sport NX), I think it’s small in comparison with the RDX, the RDX has way more space. I regret not getting an RX instead.
Awesome video! If I was ever in the market for an SUV, the NX (especially if it was given the FSport Performance treatment) would be on the shortlist. Yeppers...you're THE guy for Lexus Reviews on YT. Keep On, Keep'n On. 🙂
Love my Blue NX F Sport. Have had it a month. I'm still learning how to use everything and can't wait for summer when I can open the pano roof. The ML sound system is great. That being said...I may trade up when I can to the plug in hybrid. In the Midwest that may not be till next year sadly. For now, I love this car!
I really like my wife's 2022 NX 350h in Nori green, loaded with the luxury package and all the other options. The performance is decent and it certainly won't break any speed records... however the fuel economy is stellar and the ride is silky smooth. Also, the material quality is top notch and it was built in Japan!
The red on red color looks stunning! It’s interesting that the CX 50 turbo engine sounds better than the turbo engine on the NX🤔. Looks like someone has been to Pollo Tropical recently. I love Pollo Tropical!
going for a test drive in an f sport 2 Saturday. I sat in the Acura and this same day within 10 minutes of each other. They are basically identical in price. i felt more tucked in in the Lexus. Also the infotainment definitely goes to the Lexus. Steering wheel and wheels go the Acura. but in the end i want comfort and i want infotainment usability.
I usually don't love SUV so much though, this one looks sleek. Spindle grill... once I hated it at that time when it was introduced but it has aged so well.
I have a 2020 RDX and the panoramic sunroof makes popping noises. The dealership says it can’t fix it. I have to agree that this new NX looks way better.
Yup, and loving it. But it does have dual exhaust left & right sides. Doors touch sensitive lock & unlock on both front door pulls. We got use to the electric doors and shifter fairly quick no problems.. Our Android phone hav no problem charging even with the cases they r in. We haven't heard any rattles in the front grilles and i play it kinda loud. But not too loud. Oh, yeah, for the screen prints i put a ceramic coating on it like i did my Q50 screen and i get almost no Fingerprints at all. Works pretty good so far... Yes, it's Very fun to drive. My wife can't stay out of it. Never had the hard down shift. We turn off the Auto Stop Crap, Period, lol...Stay Safe, Be Safe!!!!
If Lexus is advertising different trims and packages, why can't I buy one? I tried all my area Lexus dealers for a 350 Luxury package with Panoramic View Monitor. I can't find one, and I can't order one, yet still advertised.
@@naveenthemachine In doing my research, I could get a fully loaded ES Ultra Luxury for what the NX F Sport costs. I’m trading my 2nd car 2006 MDX not daily driver but only used for road trips and still going strong at 230K. I’m leaning towards the ES as well.
It doesn’t drive better than the IS. The is is RWD based and has a much better suspension setup with double wishbone fronts, much better steering feel than the NX. Imo “Lexus Driving Signature” is virtually nonexistent marketing hype. It doesn’t exist.😂
@@letsgobrandon5800 nx and rav4 has same performance so you cant say its slower lol.also its good that toyota and lexus use this engine because its a excellent option

My sister in law lease is up on her nx fsport. She hates the rough ride, as she calls it and doesn't want to buy it out because of that. I wonder if the ride is better 3 years later.
Yes, but if you're comparing 22 vs 2019 f sport, it's not that much better riding but the ones with the 19" wheels and softer suspension should be better
Cx50 is nice. Can't wait to drive it but I can tell you the suspension, engine, brakes infotainment, HUD, seats, steering wheel sound system are superior on the NX. Tbh I'm excited to see the Toyota hybrid system in the Mazda too
The thing is… the price of this NX 350 fsport model in Vietnam is a whopping $145,000 USD, and I an ordering it soon. Feel so dan jealous with the one in the U.S., even I pay $145,000 here but I receive no paronamic sunroof, no 64 color light (mono light only), no mark levinson (lexus premium only 10 speakers), no 360 camera (only back up camera only), no digital rear mirror (anti reflective only), no remote key using smartphone. @@mrsj1417 I’m giving it one more chance to really impress and showcase the unexpected 🤞 Because the GR corolla let me tell you. I was expecting it to be a total fail just like the corolla apex was. I expected nothing more than sporty looks and a very stiff suspension. However, I was proven completely wrong in every front. Front and rear LSDs 70% rear bias AWD, 3 cylinder with 300hp and a 12.3in lcd cluster and an old school handbrake. You didn’t see negative comments of the gr Corolla when it came out. Instead you saw me say “OMG. Toyota YOU DID IT!!!! YOU REALLY DID IT! 🤩😍” If Lexus can pull off the same momentum for the new RX all doubts about Lexus will disappear. The million dollar question of will it shock all of us as in “woah! We weren’t expecting Lexus to do THAT. Lexus. YOU DID IT! YOU REALLY DID IT!” Just like the gr corolla and is500
@@naveenthemachine rx is fantastic anyway but for you its always going to be bad plus why do lexus care about your opinion ? are you the father of lexus or something ?
I heard some people already have problem with electrical gear shifter. Whenever they shift the gear to Drive, the car still on park mode which does not allow them to drive.
Kirk how do you think some of the tech / ergonomics like the gauge cluster or infotainment in the nx compare to some high end Toyotas? Like the Venza limited w the 7inch mid and 12.3in screen? I personally feel like Toyotas gauge cluster is bigger than what’s in the nx. And I feel like Toyotas older infotainment is better since it has a Home Screen and built in navigation vs connected nav
@@arhamkhakwani5851 the gr corolla and new sequoia gets a 12.3in full lcd cluster (offered on 1794 Platinum Capstone gas models, but standard w the iForceMAX regardless of trim)
This model and trim is my first Lexus and first Toyota product since the 1980’s. I bought mine on impulse and I am still kicking myself. I have (reluctantly) concluded that it is a decent car. What I do not like is that the car is sloooow off the line. I guess like most cars makers Lexus also funnels fake engine sounds into the compartment which is to me, amazingly idiotic. The engine just sounds whiny. There is more wind noise and thanks to the run flats, more road noise than I think should be acceptable for a Lexus. But here is a big kicker that probably does not apply to the vast majority of potential buyers, but does for me: this car and this trim has been out for a year. The Monroney says the car can two 2,000 lbs. BUT, there are no trailer hitches to be had from Lexus or any third party. (This just applies to the F Sport). So far, Lexus corporate is blowing me off and I am furious. I will probably dump the damn thing if I cannot get a hitch for it in the next two months. If I can find a way to go after Lexus for it, I will. This to me, is bait and switch. “Oh sure, sir, you can tow with the NX F Sport, but you are own as to how to do it. Have you looked into strong bungee cords?” Despite the fact it has more depreciation and has not established itself as a top drawer reliable car maker, if I had to do over again, I would definitely have gotten the GV 70 2.5.
To be honest if NX 350 and Mazda CX-60 are in same price range, I would go for a CX-60 instead given CX-60 has a rear biased awd that drives like a BMW, and also has more squarely look overall which would suit a SUV design more. I love "Squared" SUV, this is why Mercedes GLE and GLC, and BMW X2 looks suck to me, but I ended up buying the BMW X5 45e. Another factor that prevents me to buy my NX 350 this time is the stupid dealer markup, but the BMW dealer did not mark the X5 up.
knowing that nmw is german car.. and it has german problems which everyone knows. But id say u shouldve just leased it instead. Save up for the NX 350.. prices would go down maybe.. until the chip shortage is gone.
@@cheezybread7783 , my friend, the dealer is asking for markup for 8000 usd from msrp. That makes the new nx450h that I wanted to pre orders cost more than a BMW x5. Since I will only keep my ride on average 6.5 years anyway and always buys extended warranty with it. It should not be much of an issue.
@@cheezybread7783 , If am I rich, I would be owning multiple cars at the same time rather than having the X5 as a 1 size fits all for my family vehicle.
That small delay when you push the gas peddle is a deal breaker for me. I've driven a lot of new Lexus models that feel like that and I'm not a big fan 😔
Kirk, is this the same red Lexus 350 F Sport that Joe Raiti drove? Lol because he put out how own review a few days ago. Think of all the RU-vidr butts that have sat in these review cars.
I give up on the Japanese luxury . Looks like Lexus , Acura , Infiniti they only want to compete each other . They don't set the target high like Hyundai . The ride quality handling interior Build quality can't even get close to Genesis I don't know how they compete with the Germany only upside the is resale volume . I have the 350 F sport for 2 week I sold it I can't stand the steering wheel with the new touch pads not only one but two every time when i driving is so easy to touch those pads and they keep popping up on the head up display . Especially at night time man is so distraction .
Will never happen. Toyota/Lexus has an aversion to Horsepower. Even the LFA was less than 560 bhp. Even the LFA is slower than a Tesla Model 3 DMP. Plaid fuggetaboutit.
@@alengreen589 I’d love to see a 400 hp RX and 350 hp NX, but knowing Toyota/Lexus and their apparent disdain for true high performance cars , it’ll never happen. A RAV4 Prime is about as quick as you’re going to get from a Toyota SUV. That is, until Toyota gets on the BEV train, which appears to be later than sooner. Perhaps we’ll finally get a Toyota/Lexus that can do 0-60 in the 2-3 second range. Tesla has been doing that for years now and Plaid has done 1.98xx.
@@alengreen589 true, however a manufacturer can also make reliable cars that are both exciting and innovative. Toyota/Lexus, as reliable as they can be , are about as exciting as picking out that new steam iron. Gee honey, Sunbeam or Rowenta, Corolla or Camry? The LFA and it’s great sounding V10 was the most exciting thing that Lexota ever made and they only made it a very short time. It was basically unobtainium. As reliable as it was/is, the ISF /RCF was never a true performance car . But wait, I have to go pick out that new waffle iron.
You seem to be a little off in this video. Perhaps that bump in the head is more serious than itt appears. Hope everything is going better than not. 🆘♿should be much safer, like all vehicles of this brand -> results of crash tests + neck injuries occur with a 46% probability on a Lexus nx ride in a 50km/h (35mph) crash test where a dummy ( doll ) was used ( driver 46% passenger 42% ) that's why i dont like this - not my choice ❌ ( it is still Toyota Camry ) ( The Chevrolet Equinox is safer than the Lexus nx )
OMG, rattles with the loud music, that's a total deal breaker for me and it's what I've been increasingly worried about with new Lexus models, the build quality just isn't what it used to be boys and girls. The UX also has terrible rattle issues in the doors when playing music loud, especially with heavy bass. Sad times Lexus fans I'm afraid, they don't make em like they use to. Also, did you check out the wobbly centre console? Few reviewers have shamed Lexus for that too!
Well, no issues with mine and I occasionally crank it up. The Mark Levinson system is so impressive and just love it. I've had the NX350h for a few months now (10 000 km)
This is nice not going to lie but I still I would choose the genesis gv70 or Volvo XC60.. just feels more premium to me this car is giving me mazda vibes
I will never buy a Lexus that only offers run flat tires because they are terrible. Owners have reported the bumpy / noisy ride. Run flat have no flex in the sidewalls. That is why you can drive at least 50 miles with no air in the tires at a max speed of 50 miles per hr. What a bad move by Lexus taking away the best available ride and noise comfort on a so called Luxury brand. As of 2022 they are no longer a luxury brand when they put run flats on all their vehicles. 👎👎👎👎 I now will never buy Lexus until they install quality tires for a quality ride. Should be using Michelin regular tires. A no brainer.

Man, Lexus really missed the mark with this one. Between the rattling MARK LEVINSON speakers, the glossy black interior, the ridiculous doorhandles, no spare tire and terrible fuel economy - why would anyone pay a premium for this?
It could be an early build problem. Unfortunately It’s very common with any brand these days and sadly that even includes Toyota I have the current gen Camry and there were a few recalls like the fuel pump, and now the brakes. A few very early build models had engine issues and 8 speed issues but those were ironed out quickly My pessimistic prediction of the nx has sadly come true. they’ve really missed everything and yet they charge too much for it
No issues with Mark Levinson speakers. Just passed 10 000 km on my NX350h and absolutely no issues. The sound of this speaker system is the most impressive yet i've seen
I mean, it’s a RAV4 dressed up. It’s not great on gas and performance is fair to middling. It’s a solid , reliable cute-Ute however. HUD is a nice addition. One thing, what’s the sticker on this car? I’ll bet it’s pushing $56k . One big problem, no spare and requires premium fuel.
