For someone like me, this car is ideal if you only had the money to buy one car. Two kids who are only going to grow, the third row seats will be folded down and the second row seats will be pushed to the back to give maximum legroom and also plenty of boot space for balik kampung. Simultaneously, when the situation calls for it, they can move to the third row and my parents can be in the second row. Really appreciate the review, Aiman! Looking forward to more of your videos.

Hey chief, well presented, however the new update comes out this month, which practically puts this review being obsolete. Wonder if you were aware of the update. Hope you would ring Bermaz up again and request for the updated model soon to be launhed this month, in literally days ahead for a review. The car will come with its MRCC feature as well
The only minus part which I personally don’t like of this Cx8 is you have to fold mid row seat whenever you have to ride with 5. Finally I go for Tiguan which is I do not need to fold the mid row everyday. 😀
Santa Fe has better space in the third row, but the two trade blows in terms of performance, fuel efficiency and refinement for the diesels (in terms of petrols, the CX-8's engine is sweeter). But in terms of safety, the Mazda knocks it out of the park.
@@MalaysianMotoring thanks for this. I totally agree after test driving both cars. I think the Santa Fe is more practical if the 3rd row seats are utilized, they feel more comfortable and you get rear air con vents, which is super useful for our weather. I also find the CX-8 seat configuration a little weird for the Mid+, High and AWD. If i don't put up the 3rd row, its only a 4 seater. but the CX-8 definitely win in terms of 'atas-ness' and safety. arghh.. decisions decisions.. :D
everyone knows roof mounted air con vents are still better yet car manufacturers still choose to have centre console air vents which are as good as useless. #NoActionTalkOnly But you can always install aftermarket blowers
