We all thought that about a bunch of the QBs last year. Burrow wasn't a top 5 QB going into his last season, and we saw how that changed. A whole season will change a lot. This class is also very deep, not top-heavy but very very deep.

Pretty tough take on the panthers but I totally agree. I was telling my friends that Rhule would draft Pickett over the tackle to give him added job security. Darnold looked great before the o-line fell apart and Joe Brady lost his damn mind play calling.

Yesss! Derek stingley cb1. I watched around 3-4 hours of tape on him and I think he is unbelievable. One of the most talented players I’ve ever watched. Gardner is still a great great corner that would fit really well in Seattle.

Garret Wilson at 4 is a massive reach. His route running is very inconsistent. He has a high ceiling, but the technical parts are not there. I would have gone Sauce.

I think if the Ravens really want Ojabo, they might be a good trade down partner with the Packers as well. Move back to 22 where I'm fairly confident they could still get Ojabo and pick up an extra 2nd rounder. Then later on I might package a few of those numerous 4th rounders to move back up into the 2nd or 3rd round to try to get any top talents that might be falling a bit. I do think the Ravens kinda need to take a quantity approach and grab 5 or 6 top 100 guys, so they can build a really good amount of depth to protect against injuries. And they can do it because they have a whopping 6 picks between picks 100-141. That's a lot of ammo to use to trade up into the 2nd or 3rd round.

As a Chiefs fan JJ and Travon would be a dream scenario. I think it’s more likely that that would actually end up as Karlaftis and Ojabo rather than JJ and Walker since Karlaftis and Ojabo are falling as JJ and Walker are rising but a double dip at Edge would be really great. Also in this particular Draft Class you have a Day 2 WR Roster of Watson (most likely), Pierce, Ross, Pickens, Dotson, Moore, Tolbert, Velus Jones Jr., and Romeo Doubs. That’s a really strong Day 2 Class there and grabbing one of those at 50 would be amazing with a double dip at Edge in the 1st…

I think the argument you make for the Packers moving up is compelling, and a major run on WRs could be the story of this draft. I also like the argument you make for drafting Jameson Williams at 15, but think the Vike should draft him at 12 for similar reasons. I think the potential decline/injury risk of Thielen at 32 is a massively underrated possibility - he has not finished a regular season since 2018, and has missed more games than Dalvin Cook in the past 3 years. I don't think OConnell can afford his offence to fail in year one, and losing Thielen again would significantly undermine the Cousins extension. The Vikes would not have to hurry Jameson, and he not only gives them a fantastic future combo with Jefferson, but would also leverage those last few years out of Thielen, by moving him to WR3 in their new 11 personnel scheme. I think Green at 12 is a good pick, but given that the Vikes are slated to FA Ereck Flowers at RG, added to the potential redundancy of Wyatt Davis, that would dissuade me. Tyler Smith (or Kinnard) at 46 would create the same possibilities if they wanted to go all in on offence. Most Vikes fans are dogmatic about drafting a CB at 12, but I agree that the draft is unlikely to fall favourably for a CB at 12 who isn't a reach. A rookie CB isn't likely to start immediately anyway, and a better alternative might be re-signing Pat Peterson, and drafting a competent tackler like Gordon or Emerson at pick 46. They would both be high value upgrades, and arguably a better scheme fit than McDuffie and other lighter framed options.

Saquon Barkley. I had a different grading system back then but he'd probably come close to a 7.60 which is insane considering 8.0 is a theoretical number that never gets used. Which just goes to show you how bad the Giants fucked up that that played has basically failed.

I'm all for my Falcons trading back and gathering draft capital. But I gotta say, from what I'm hearing my fellow fans, we don't want anymore Bama WRs lol. We've had bad luck the last 2 seasons with them. Personally, I'd love us to get Karlaftis, Trevon Walker, or Jordan Davis. We allowed 2200 rushing yards last season. We gotta address the trenches. A WR in the 2nd for sure tho. And if we draft any of these QBs at 8, imma throw up.

I feel like the best play for any team that wants to draft a quarterback this year is to play chicken through the first 2 days with it. This draft is pretty deep through the first 3 rounds where there really just isn’t value in the the quarterbacks by comparison. Even if you don’t end up getting your guy forcing another team to reach or give up assets to draft up is a much bigger win in my opinion to set yourself up better for another QB you can get next year through either trade or a much stronger QB draft.

I absolutely agree with the Thibodeaux analysis. The same garbage happened with Anthony Edwards in the NBA. People lowered him in mocks and big boards because of his lack of “love for the game” was concerning to them. Fans called it out constantly too. Timberwolves took him first anyway, and he’s looked REALLY good.

If we are going double O-Line should definitely go Linderbaum not Zion but in this scenario we should take Kyle Hamilton then at pick 20 if Zion or Linderbaum are still there then trade up and get them
