They literally said ignore the drive train difference... And they are comparable when you are thinking about whether or not you need a king cab or crew cab truck.
I don't understand everyones obsession about the 4 door crew cabs and small, useless beds. Why not just get an SUV and be done with it? A real truck shoud have at least 6 foot bed. Ideal configuration would be the king cab, but instead of those useless jumper seats, why not just put in a plastic bin (at least 1 foot deep), that spans across the whole width. This way there is room to put washer fluid jugs, small toolbox, fishing rod, shotgun...etc.
