New Opel Astra - Highlights:
▪ Start of new era in 85-year-history of Opel compact class:
- All-new Astra generation electrified for first time as plug-in hybrid with two power outputs and from 2023 as battery-electric Opel Astra-e
▪ Additional highly efficient petrol and diesel engines with friction-optimised six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions
▪ Power spectrum ranges from 81 kW (110 hp) to 165 kW (225 hp) system output

Compact-class premiere: adaptive Intelli-Lux LED Pixel Light with 168 LED elements - 84 in each headlamp. Following Grandland SUV and Insignia available for first time in new Astra generation.
▪ Interior takes bold step into future: next generation Pure Panel featuring expansive digital cockpit with two integrated 10-inch displays (depending on variant fully glazed), physical controls and buttons reduced to the minimum, e.g. for HVAC
▪ State-of-the-art driver assistance systems such as:
- Multifunction camera in windscreen, four body cameras (one at front, one at rear and one on each side), five radar sensors (one at front and one at each corner), as well as ultrasonic sensors front and rear
- Cameras and sensors integrated with e-horizon connectivity in Intelli-Drive 2.0, extending range of cameras and radar. System adapts to speed in curves, makes speed recommendations and performs semi-automatic lane changes
