Oh man! This video aint making it easy to choose between a pro or a khaos slash non turbo. I want a playful sled but still being able to climb and sidehill some gnarly stuff!
I wanna wheelie a sled on flat ground and my current axys pro rmk 165 2.75”just doesn’t do it and I’m thinking of ordering a khaos but the pro is so much cheaper i don’t know what to do. I also am going back to a 155 so if that pro can stand up on flat then it might be the best option
I rode the 165 22 Khaos at 10,000 feet and this pro at 6000ft so the pro definitely felt more playful but was also making a lot more power at 6K rather than 10K
I do have a deal through Polaris but have ridden all the new sleds and unbiased opinion is this chassis is the best thing to ever come to the sled industry. The other two guys in the video have zero affiliation with Polaris. Guy in the FXR mono is actually on a 2021 Doo turbo and is hooked after 10 minutes of riding the new Matryx slash.
Snow checked that spec but all black. Unfortunately rear skid upper wheels look to be moved inward on 155 models so previous years shocks like my Fox QS3’s don’t look like they will fit. The reservoir would hit the wheel. Pretty disappointed with that.
@@profittj1779 looks like Polaris moved the upper idler skid wheels inward to help keep the track from rubbing the top of the shock is my guess. I asked Chris if indeed different Fox QS3's next year to accommodate this change & he said yes. I prefer the Pro in the type of riding I do.
For the bigger guys, 200lbs +, it's still gonna be better to go 163-165. Unless you wanna be skis in the air everywhere, which for tree riding, with bigger consequences, is no beuno.
