Great Video. What's the width on those 44's wides/skinnys? im looking at building the same setup? Any reason you didn't go with 8" portals. i see lots of ppl buying the 6" over the 8" and im starting to worry being i just ordered 8". Thanks

The 8” highlifter portals were not out yet and we run highlifter portals. The 44 BKT only come in an 11.2 wide and we rather the wide. There are videos previously of them in the mud.

Beautiful build. How bad does the front rub with 44s and the suspension set up?

Doesn’t rub at all with steering stops and a hair of trimming on the bottom corner of the fender flares!

Sweet. I noticed the trimming of the front in the video but couldn’t tell how much exactly. Nicely done. I have the exact machine, 22 HL, looking at doing the same suspension/ tire size build. Keep up the great videos.

With the 1.5 foward arms and portals. Using the sandcraft steering stabilizer what length tie rods do I need with the stabilizer

Make sure you get the smaller inner bolts and shorter rod, three orders and they sent the big ones with all them and had to exchange them!! Get with Alan booty tell him you want exactly what we have!!

I know the rears we get them to send us at 32” because the 34’s that come with the kit are a hair long, not sure on the fronts but it’s the kit on sandcrafts page that comes with all the nice hardware and all, top notch in my opinion

Yes sir, I use 2x12’s full width for the sides, back and top and measure to the bottom of my machine for height! At the bottom where the jack slides in I just lower my jack all the way and measure from the ground to the top of it so I can slide it right in there, super stable and alot easier than blocks lol

Man I’ve measured it but it’s been a while as soon as I get home Monday I’ll measure it and let you know!! I want to say it’s around 85” tall and 77 wide

The speedo doesn’t read correct, but if I had to guess probably 40-50 ish with 44” tires! But you’d never go that fast when your on that big of a tire on one of these, definitely not speed demon at all lol!!

@@BOTTOMLESSTRAILSTV so I have a million dollar question. I've noticed you went with a 44in tire but chose a 6in portal. So you had to do some trimming. Is there a reason not going with the 8in portal.

We run highlifter dual idlers and the 8” weren’t out yet!! That’s the only reason we didn’t go 8’s on this one!!
