Great review, love what MFJJ brings to the archery world and after listening to his podcast with Elkshape it gives you a true insight to how much he brings to the archery world and what it means to him. An underrated person in the archery world but if your reading this comment you know this man’s a treasure and has probably helped guide you in your own archery adventures. 💪🏻
Absolutely love your reviews! Best reviewer on RU-vid hands down. Your factual points are unbeatable. Straight to the point apples to apples no Bs consistency at it's finest!
Thanks for the review. Where the bow loads up in the draw cycle is a determining factor for me as I age and can no longer easily pull 70 lbs. Keep producing your videos, they are great. If you are so inclined, I'd like to see more in depth tuning videos showing the adjustments you make and why. It would be great if you can do them for each manufacturer.
i bought it in 60lbs, because in germany, you are limited to max 60lbs at competions,. target or 3d/field. and with 60lbs i wanted the most stable and fastest bow i could get🙂as i train a lot with it, i don't feel the "hump" at the and anymore. reason could be, that i train with much stronger bows too.
You can get this bow with the EC Cams if you want the smoothness. I still shoot the EVO NXT 33 and love it. I do have a 31" draw length and that cam favors long draws,.
Why does everyone have to pick on the meatheads? I don't shoot a 80lb bow because most people can't. I shoot it because I am more comfortable with it and I don't have any problems with tuning my arrows even out to 125 yards. I'm not trying to bust your balls I am a big fan and trying to make the trip soon to get some tips and strings from you!!
Amazing bow review as always. Honest review on all of them and I love that. Not favoring a certain bow or brand. Certainly learned a lot from watching the channel.
I just watched a test on this bow with the same draw weight, same draw length, same cam, using a 16 grain heavier arrow and it was 338 fps. Your shooting 10 fps slower with a 16 grain lighter arrow. Chronograph difference maybe?
Hi JJ, Have you got any feed back on dampening the vibration on this particular bow. Mine has the "Twang" vibrate right through to my scope and have checked/tightened every nut/bolt but for the life of me I cannot get rid of it. The bow is new and shoots great but the vibration is driving me crazy.. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated..
MFJJ on 80# ers.... Haha...... Need to go back to basics sometime soon because,,, It's too heavy when you have to point up to the moon & crank back like you're trying to start a seized snowmobile - that's stuck in a tree!!!
Great video. Answers my questions. One question, seriously, do people pay that much attention to vibration? Nowadays, bows are all good, American made that is.
I want to order front/back bar setup (12”/8”) from you guys. Can we get a head2head comparison of the AAE mountain series vs your Podium Stabilizer you make?
Who cares if someone says this bow pulls easy? Just like you said about the meatheads...what are you giving up? There are 3D guys that pull 50 lb bows and will outshoot many 70+ lb shooters, even at distance, including me at 70 lbs.
Huge favor, please shoot the evo 33 s2 on max DL! Us gorilla arm folks would like some feedback on our realm of rigs. Thx and good luck at TAC. Dan sure is hellbent to take your down.
Cool, thanks. Why would PSE move away from the honey of the Evolve cam? Speeds don’t seem to warrant a huge engineering shift or discovery… almost worse…?
Hey man I just wanna let you know I wanted to support your business so I bought the black gold dual trac With the new Mathews bar can you please do a video on that I hope I don’t need an offset bracket
It's the PSE EVO XF 33 with the S2 cam (not FX). The official specs claim the bow weighs 4.5 lbs. I've heard PSE has an "Altera" coming out sometime soon. And an "ATK" series, one is Brute ATK and the other is a Stinger ATK.
MFJJ you taking the v3x33, the Ventum33, or the evo33 to the woods this year? Just got my epsilon from you today. Thanks for the fast shipping! I wish your shop was in NC
I would say he would be taking his mathews he is definitely a mathews shooter, still good question, he may pick all three, I think it would be a toss up between ventum and vx3, I would like to shoot that xf and the ventum pro 33
@@trackhoehunter2544 I've hunted in Colo since 91, bow hunted since 10, last yr was the first time I had 80% let off. Carried whatever tool it took to change letoff incase I saw the game warden. In my defense I've had a torn labrum since the 90's, operated on once but didn't correct it. The ventum 33 is the first bow I could hold at 80% for any length of time.
So I have the EVO NTN 33 currently that I’ve been shooting for a year and a half, and I shoot it well and I’m happy with it. Is the EVO XF that much better or different that you would consider it a significant upgrade to my NTN and recommend upgrading? Or should I just stick with what I got and take the money and put it towards coaching and tools for my home archery shop? (Pretty sure I just answered my own question😂) Thanks Josh 🤘🏻
Depends. That evolve cam is pretty awesome. The ntn was a bit slow if you were 29 inches and lower on speed. So the only real benefit to this bow would be the speed gain, thats it though
It does look like he only did the 30. Sorry for the misinformation! I can't imagine that you couldn't get it with the evolve cam. But I've been wrong once!
@@trackhoehunter2544 no you can for sure, and no worries just was wondering how the speed and draw cycle compares. Ill just have to drive over and shoot one, helps that Reedy’s archery one of the best on the east is 45 mins from me and they are a Hoyt, PSE and Mathews dealer. The 3 brands im mainly focused on with their new lineup
Great review as always, thank you. About the bow...it really seems that you struggle a bit with the draw cycle compared to other bows... As an example, you look more comfortable with the V3x 33 and only gives up 2-3 fps against the PSE.
