Hi everyone, welcome to my new truck channel and first video! I thought I'd do a winter time MPG test to show how the truck is doing in these colder temperatures. I know if you're buying this truck your first concern is not MPG. BUT, I'm a numbers guy so I can't help it I have to know. Hope you all enjoy and I'll have more stuff out soon. Thanks for watching!

🇨🇦 Here. Got 10.1L/100 = 23.2 MPG. I have a tonneau cover, ‘21 LO 3500 6.7. Driving in town however… uses twice the fuel.

Did a trip from AZ to MI and back to AZ back in September. Best I got was 22 and overall was 20.5. The truck said the best I got was 24, when actual was 22. So the fuel mileage on the truck is a little off I would say.

Good test and nice truck. When I had my 22’ 3500 Limited Cummins from April to Nov, my total average was 12.6 with a level on 35s, combination of normal driving and towing. I had a Thuren leveling kit. About a month ago I traded it for a 2500 Laramie 6.4 w/ 4.10s.

I've put about 30K miles on my 2018 2500 mega cab with 6.4L and 4.10's. I have Michelin LTX AT2 275/65R20's on it with factory alloys. Redline fluids in diffs, transfer case, and automatic transmission. Highway I set the cruise control to 80 and get 14 mpg. Towing a triple axle 10 horse trailer with tack room and partially loaded (~ 10,000+ lbs) at 75 mph I averaged 8 mpg over 1200 miles. The truck is quiet, smooth, and a great truck. I've owned many diesels and until they get rid of the emission nonsense I won't own another. The difference in fuel consumption exists but doesn't offset the costs. The diesel is a more powerful tow rig, but the difference isn't so great to justify the money. Bottom line is gas is cheaper to maintain, fuel, a more open engine bay. It handles cold weather like a champ and fuel is more widely available. My only complaint is wish it had a bigger fuel tank for towing. Besides that it's a great truck

LOVE how you calculated the mileage!! Hardly anyone gets it right - start from full, then calculate mpg at next fuel top off. Forget the computer. 👍 Is your Ram deleted or stock? When mine was stock, it definitely ate fuel on a regen and it was killing my mpg. My Ram is deleted now. I’ve been calculating my mpg to and from work for a few months, which is 7 stop signs.. up to 60mph.. 20 miles each way. I’ll also do city driving on Saturdays. So far, I’m averaging about 17.4mpg.
