2022 Ram 3500 Long Horn Dually Mega Cab: This Truck Costs As Much As A House And It Can Tow One Too! 

I ordered this exact spec a few weeks ago. I’m no western cowboy guy, matter fact I’m a city Seattle boy. Don’t really haul that many things but I guess if I do I’ll be good. I considered the Limited trim too because price is identical. In my opinion, black interiors feel and get dated much quicker. Aside from trucks I have sports cars and a few years back I realized that Full black interior are just plain boring and if your paying 6 figures for something might as well make it special. Recently got a G80 M4 in the Sao Paulo color as well as interior because it looks tremendous!!! Trust me if you get any vehicles in the future including a ram in this segment, go for the Longhorn, black Interior just gets boring🤷🏻‍♂️

@@zhx7597 ehh, I think the black interior is still fine, I really don’t think it’s boring. I do like the interior of this truck as cowboy themed, but I still like the black interior better

Mega cab and crew cab are two different cabs.

Man I ordered mines the 4th of April and I’m still waiting. It sucks! Eventually I will have it.

@@gator7993 you know I’m not sure if I should cancel my order. 2023’s are getting new hood, mirrors and word on the street full screen on dial(kinda doubt since 1500 doesn’t have it but perhaps) still happy with my spec but just a thought🤷🏻‍♂️

@@ViktorAgnarFalkGumundsson I haven't been able to build one like that in DRW. Only option with DRW, regardless of cab or trim, is 8' bed.

Did yours take the full 90 days like I was told it would take? I ordered mines in April.

Calling you out. No way you have this truck. I have the 18 ram 3500 dually longhorn. I love my truck, but w/o anything to tow, it’s a very harsh ride! Rides nothing like a caddy bro. Quit with the fake flex lying. Jeeze

@@beemerguy2160 sorry no lies just the truth. Mine is a SRW with factory air. On the highway it rides as nice as my wife’s XT6 & as well as any of the Cadillacs I’ve driven over the years. Helps to carry several hundred pounds of weight in the bed. I use tubes of sand in canvass weight training bags. when you hit a huge bump you know it but highway driving is smooth. Of course your DRW will ride tougher than a SRW.

Actually, that Cummins diesel will typically get better mileage than the 5.7 Hemi in my Ram 1500. They've refined the engine quite a bit, and it's so powerful now it doesn't really have to work hard unless it's towing something, which is where the mileage typically drops off pretty quickly.

I have this exact truck without the megacab though (stupid option), so I have the 8' bad. Approximately $108,000 when I got it in early February this year.

@@zhx7597 I hear ya. We've already taken 2 trips driving down to Florida. Have kids. Lots of room, have the trifold tonneau cover on it, lots of room for stuff. Plus I will be towing my 5th wheel with the truck. 8' bed is a must

With no load it’s rough. With a load or trailer it is smooth.

I can't compare to the other brands, but the only time I feel "rough" in mine is going over speed bumps any faster than "crawl". The rear end literally pops up! Otherwise, smooth and quiet always!

Dealers generally don’t put the floor mats in until after the vehicle is sold. At least that’s how we did it at my dealership

I can tell you drive a lot Matt…. Dead Pedal is a must.

@@SuperDuty250 you miss about 4k pounds of towing and 10 mpg on gas so depends kn how you look at it I guess

@@hamisam7651 nope, but they could make the bed 7’6” which would help extra bed space. At that length the ram 3500 mega cab with a 7’6” bed would be the same length as the ford f450 crew cab.

@@hamisam7651 F350 crew cab. Same length as F450. My point is, Ram could put a little larger bed if Maximum length of truck is the rule in the Heavy Duty class. Also, I looked up and researched all this info before I posted my comment

I have an 18’ 3500 longhorn dually. I pulled maybe two loads with it in its entire life. Rest of the time, i use it as a grocery getter or back n forth to my big rigs. Being a millionaire is great I guess. 😊 u can buy a truck like this for no practical reason.

Picked up my 3500 Mega Cab last March in Dallas and the window was $99,245.00 then added a 52 gallon fuel tank for 2000.00 from the dealer. And it's not a dually! Same truck now windows for $102,500.

I guess I’m an immigrant then.
