Got mine last month in black! Super clean and comfortable car, definitely daily drivable but also a hint of sport within her! Definitely the most hated wrx, not only the looks but the cvt. No matter what people think your car is your car don’t ever let someone or society doubt the freedom you have for your own desires and likes.
Imagine being mad over the transmission that someone else buys in their car. Some people literally have to find something to hate on. Just got my ‘23 wrx sport tech (Canada) and I’m loving the SPT. I’ve driven stick all my life, last Subaru was a BRZ. I honestly can’t be bothered to shift anymore. I’m not buying a car for the transmission.
Many don't seem to realise the WRX has always been a car designed for Japan, they didn't even sell it in the US for 10 years. They don't even sell the manual in Japan; this car was designed to have this CVT.
I love mine…Solar Orange. I’d recommend changing the stock tires. I put a good set of performance all seasons on mine and the ride improved noticeably. I’m taking the badges off this weekend. This is a great car for an older guy who used to daily a STi.
I have a 19 wrx 6mt, love it. But as I get older this is more and more appealing to me. For someone who’s looking for a fun little performance car this is great. I’ll be moving back to a truck or suv next though. Thanks for the review!
In Australia we get a space saver spare tyre & rear centre fog/rain light in the centre of the rear bumper as well as no reflectors on the rear wheel cladding. One thing I think it needs regardless of model is an intercooler mesh grille to keep bugs & leaves out. There’s a few available & I went with one printed with WRX. Easy to fit with a ten millimetre ring spanned/socket.

I’m bout to sell my Supra for a wrx. I like the 4 doors more family friendly and still a bit of fun when you need it… I don’t care what people think about my car as long as I’m happy with it
@@703Speed and handles and feels amazing . Test drove a gt yesterday for about 30 minutes . And it’s great . The fender flares aren’t bad at all . The rear bumper isn’t the greatest but oh well
It seems everyone likes to review the GT when most people get the limited edition or lower with a 6-speed manual. What is it like 85% of WRX owners buy the manual? If I missed your manual review, I apologize. I have nothing wrong with the auto, but most prefer the manual. To get a true feeling of a WRX you must shift the stick!! I am an owner of a new Solar Orange Premium 6mt and loving it. Thanks for the videos.
Got my white 6 spd yesterday. Car is incredible! Edit: I wish they offered the Recaro seats in the manual idk why they don't but other than that I have not 1 single bad thing to say about the car!
Congratulations! Yeah I agree, but I’m thinking they didn’t offer the recaros w/manual so more people would buy the GT.. I could be totally wrong tho 😂
What I do not like in this car is turn signals lever - it is very hard to operate it. I often miss and turn opposed signal instead of turn it off - drivers around probably consider mw crazy.
The upshift and downshift is fake it’s a CVT. Programming designed to make you think it’s not really a CVT, it would actually be faster without the fake interruptions
