Why do I keep watching reviews of the vehicle I already own? Lol. My 2022 4Runner TRD Pro in this exact color is awesome. It's just as capable as my old Ford Raptor, without having to live with the inconveniences of owning an oversized truck. Nice review!

My dream truck has always been a raptor but I don’t wanna drop 80k on a truck. Recently did a deep dive on the 4Runner and ordered an Off Road Premium with KDSS!

@@skoolynugenator1802 Congrats! I think that's a great choice! You can't go wrong with either the Raptor or 4Runner TRD Pro (or Off-Road). Two of the best vehicles ever made imo. I was deciding between the 4Runner and the Bronco when I traded in the Raptor, and within 15 mins test driving the Bronco I was like hell no there's no way I can live with this painfully loud soft top lol. 4Runner is a much more pleasant experience. Also, you should (must!!!!) get the Pedal Commander. It makes the 4Runner 10x more enjoyable to drive.

One of those models that embodies the classic Toyota philosophy - simple and conservative aesthetics, spacious and usable ergonomic interior with physical controls, tried and true indestructible powertrain, and comfortable driving dynamics with no regard for sportiness. Refreshing to be honest considering how many SUV’s these days feel so pressured to project sporty/techy sex appeal for marketing purposes. I think maybe Toyota is starting to realize the value and appeal in that approach given newer models like the Venza and the Corolla Cross that embody a similar approach (minus the offroad ability)

I almost got the lime green on off road premium it looked great at the dealer ship in san francisco . I was going to get the gold wheels and do gold running lights for nuggets here in Humboldt, green in the trd red for the redwoods but got a white SR5 plain jane with 4x4,, & i'm glad I did, now so I can do a stormtrooper build , kind of a dark side of the force tribute... go white and black with the TRD RED everywhere I can upgrade it to and red running lights around grill and rock sliders interior floor lights etc,,,

If you are taking your 4Runner on the trails regularly, the TRD Off-Road is a much better value. If you are not going on trails regularly, buy a RAV4 or Highlander.

I won’t be doing much trail riding, but I prefer a body on frame truck. Pretty much all a Toyotas are reliable, but nothing touches the reliability of a 4Runner.

You are right but the TRD Pro has a “ look” that you can’t get in a RAV4 or Highlander. Very few people buy trucks and use them for there intended purpose.

@@ezraalbin3252 not that much with an Off-Road with KDSS. And yes, the pro holds its value better overall, but any 4Runner holds its value very well. There isn’t this giant gap between the two. Facts.

4runner will out last the Bronco and have better resale value, plus you don't have to worry about all that build up of swow around your rear doors freezing them shut, sorry ford.
